No, at 50NL you recieve a point for every 3 raked hands, at 100NL you get a point for every 2 raked hands and at 25NL you get a point for every 5 or 7 i dont remember. There is a table on UB that shows you for all the diferent limits
ahhh ok... so hard though, $650 in 60 days after 3000 hands per day it's not much... Maybe I'll go there when I get to NL100 or NL200 and clear the full bonus in a month for a nice extra $1200 or so

better late than never: congratulations Nan! solid results for sure!
I've interacted a fair bit with Nan as we were part of the same Platoon for Mount Robusto. I recently took him up on his offer of 2 free coaching session and it went really well (more general stuff than anything, less hands specific, so I will be able to tell more after a follow-up) and based on that session as well as what I heard him saying during a couple of Basecamp vids, MAKE THIS GUY A COACH. snapcall.

Wow! I don't have much else to add here. Congratulations!
Lots of great tips and advice, too, in this thread. Would really dig to try out coaching from you.
I've never had any coaching before, would be very educational and interesting, for sure.

Few people have asked about table selection so here's my take.
Table selection is one of the most important part of poker IMO. I don't have any ego problems so if I notice a table with 5 tough regs where I think my edge is small I will not play at that table. I rather go play 200NL than 1000NL with 5 other tough regs. Regarding number of fish at a table before I will sit that's pretty arbitrary. To me a bad regular is just a fish with a hand chart. As long as I know I have an edge on certain player I will sit at the table and it won't matter to me if they're a "fish" or a "reg"
On coaching: I'm fairly sure I'm not allowed to advertise myself as a coach before DC makes it official.
For all those who PM'd me with questions I will get to those after lunch.

#3 He has a good understanding of what he knows and what he does not know. Most players watch videos and learn that way. That is fine if and only if you think about the content. Most people learn poker by heart - just like they would learn a math proof by heart; that is almost a waste of time. This requires that you are very honest with yourself.
Improva, would you mind expanding a little on this and how to incorporate it into one's learning process? Sorry if i'm being a bit slow. I think I get what you're saying but just wanted to double check.
Edit: Also, congrats to blah, obviously.

Update on the coaching situation since many have asked. DC rejected my coaching application due to my inexperience with making videos. That's completely understandable since I've never made any training videos in my life and that's something I will work on in the coming year.
Thanks again to everyone for your support. This does not mean I'm giving up on becoming a coach though.

That is of course pretty pity for you, but maybe they will reevaluate their decision when ppl will continue to show interest or they will give you a chance to produce at first some vids.
But I would have one further question to you, that just have come into my mind:
You had during only 1 year several different coaches?
Why so?
I mean, at least for me:
I think it is much much better to choose from the beginning a very very good one which you respect much (maybe due to his reputation + past vids from him + his results + his "written down" thoughts in forums, etc.) and work with him then on a regularly basis longterm , together and just stay loyal.
I think this is the only way he can become with the time a real mentor for you and hence will be able to help you most effectively, just b/c he will not only know your game very good but also will be able to control your development and so on.
What you personally think about this?
