I do not like partygaming for personal reasons. Party gammon software is pretty bad. There are mergers, that can transform your games into readable formats for snowie or gnu. If you do decide to play on partygammon, be aware that they do have rating. It is hidden. And since I do not play there, unfortunately I can not help you find it. But the information is available. And since the rating information is hidden, it is also more reliable than other sites. The good thing about party gammon (if I remember correct) is they do have max rake.

Other places that do offer both poker and backgammon:

Ladbrokes (microgaming).

Truemoneygames, possible with skins available. Dont know which network, but not too much action in there. Best backgammon software available at the moment.

TMG is easy to import to snowie or gnu. Where ladbrokes is not, but possible. TMG even got table stakes to get imported into snowie, which should be the only place to do so.

And remember from HU poker. 90%+ of the people waiting for action. Why are they there?

ELO depends a lot on the server. So to compare ELO from one server to an other can be wrong. It can also be kind of manipulated if you know the ELO of other people. So that you only play them, when they are kind of "over rated".

Also if you play on one of the money sites like play65, tmg, ladbrokes, party etc. You can get a high ELO by simply playing cashgames and taking borderline cubes + doubling late.

The best backgammon players in the world likes to speak of "error rate" to decide who is the best. These numbers are made by neural networks like snowie or gnu.

I never played too much at netgammon. I have previously been 2000 at gamesgrid. I dont put too much into rating, because it is rather a rush of the latest luck, rather than stating your true strength.

Hey Karsten (Allwind)

Is this going to be a series or is this video more like a pilot?

Anyway, nice to see a backgammon video.

Cheers,
Hallberg

Hopefully I will be talented enough as a video producer to make this into a series that the DC members are gonna like.

Sick video. I feel like I took a massive leap in competency after watching it.

Keep 'em coming.
