Great episode.

I have one quick question regarding table poker's advice of looking at your cards right when you are dealt them. You said you would be looking left but I've seen a lot of games where the action goes clockwise and others where it goes counterclockwise. I'm guessing you mean that you are looking left meaning the players to act behind you (the most important players).

Can't wait for the tiltlessness video.

My advice would be to stop playing at the kitchen table with your drunk friends. Been there. Hard to remember which direction the deal is supposed to go when you've consumed a bottle of Jack and are playing Spit in the Ocean and Baseball. Smile

(Yeah, watch those who are behind you, regardless of direction.)

Trust me, the Tiltless episode will be epic.

thanks so much for this series, tommy and wayne.

in this ep you mentioned, that we are all one and we shouldnt harm ourselfes nor other beings.

i agree, but still i cant put it together speaking of poker.

you say, that is important not to berate people and stuff like this, and the money you take, doesnt matter so much. correct me, if i am wrong.

the first part is easy, but i dont understand the second.
isnt poker all about winning other peoples money?
and why doesnt that harm them?

ok, they might have a good time, playing w/ me, but how do they feel, when they get home busto? is it their responsibility alone?

I'll get Rusty to check that out. What version of iPod do you have, and how old is it (which generation)?

Gotta say this was probably my favorite visual moment I've come up with in any of the EPTPE vids yet. Poke Tongue

I had never heard someone's view on harmlessness in poker before...about the part referring to "inflicting suffering on the suckers by taking their money." It's pretty neat how far you can end up taking this right view concept. Well done Tommy.

JackTheRiva,

These are excellent questions, the last one especially, because in the question itself lies a piece of the answer. If you do something that makes me unhappy, who is responsible for my unhappiness? You or me?

I think of the issue of harmlessness at poker as being a series of questions that require unpacking; you can’t even see the deepest, truest questions and answers until you clear away the stuff on the upper layers. My answer to your questions is I don’t have any, yet. I’m still unpacking.

awesome vid tommy. Does ur advice change at all when it comes to MTT's, and online Mtts more specifically for br management. Also shot taking in MTT's?

The one nice thing about them is its insta stop loss and even though u are tilted you cant go keep giving away money.

I'm going to watch the rest of the series and go back over i feel if i am going to continue to make it as an mtt player/ poker player in general this series is going to really help Through some rough patches of variance.
