If I were to start doing P90X in my second story apartment, how much is my downstairs neighbor going to hate me? I know the plyometrics is going to be bad, but is there anything else that would be a lot of stomping around?

LOL... Just the plyo

hey guys, guess what?
i just came back from the hospital, where i have been since tuesday, due to a collapsed lung.
why did i have a collapsed lung? (for the second time?)
because im tall and skinny
really, google it, spontaneous pnumothorax
if you get it for no reason (as in, if you dont smoke, dont deep sea dive ect.) then 99 percent of the time your tall and skinny
so yea i needa put on some weight quick, im thinking of intaking tons of food and not working out too much to put on some weight and then working on turning that into muscle
any tips?

How often does that come up, once every couple of weeks or so? If so, that's probably not so bad. Is the plyo something I could learn and then do elsewhere at ground level without having a TV with me?

Like once a week, 3 times a month. Not too much, I mean you can customize your workouts any way you want, that's the best part about this program. If you don't want to do an exercise just skip it, or you could just go outside to do the ones you think will be noisy.

There are a few I do way more than the others. particularly cardiox and kenpox. I struggle with yoga x and core synergistics wrecks me.

Hey all,
Just stumbled across this thread and thought I'd chime in. A few months ago my wife decided she wanted to do P90x - she is a sucker for anything other people tell her is amazing (whole different story if I tell her though!). Anyway, she has always dieted on her own but never really worked out at all so I convinced her to look for something a little less hard-core. While reading a review of P90x I found a mention of Power 90, which is basically the original P90 (P90x is Power 90 extreme). It is much easier for a beginner IMO and much less scary, so anyone reading this forum and a bit timid about jumping into P90X, I highly recommend Power 90 instead. We are just finishing up Power 90 and will probably start P90X soon.

FWIW, I have always lifted weights but never been much for cardio. I still don't care for the cardio, but this at least has some variety and goes by pretty quickly so it is bearable. I have now lost about 15 lbs and definitely added some muscle. I have changed my diet quite a bit though, so I think most of the weight loss is due to that. I don't know exactly how much my wife has lost, but she looks really amazing! Her legs a super toned and she is starting to show some abs. She is definitely in the best shape of her life. BTW, she had baby #2 only 10 months ago so not too shabby!

If anyone is more curious about Power 90, feel free to ask.

Oh yeah, Power 90 is a bit cheaper and comes with a resistance band so that is all you really need. No need for a pull up bar or anything else like that.

10 days in and Yoga is by far the hardest one for me. I dread it way more than the plyo!

Yea the yoga is so rough, it's brutal. It's probably the best for you though and is subconsciously making us tilt less...
