I am about to finish my 2nd week of p90x and I'm loving it so far.
Any other members out there who have done, are doing, or thought about doing p90x?
Tecmo told me jk3a just finished p90x and is now doing Insanity, and Tecmo himself just started Insanity.

And you think p90x is more intense? I'm on my own workout program but I've integrated some parts of sealfit into my workout...I think it's pretty intense. I've seen a bit of the p90x program but I haven't done it so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

It is a lot more intense than you think, you can make it as intense as you want.
But the main reason is I like the variety, and I can't stand running 5 miles a day anymore, it kills my ankles and knees and back. As well as the fact that it is boring as hell, even with an ipod.
Plus the yoga is amazing.

Are you forefoot striking? I had those problems too but once I actually learned how to run it got a lot better.

I don't think so. I've been running for years and it only started happening recently. I switched to treadmills and it got better, I guess because of the softer impact than concrete, but it still bores the shit outta me.

keep posting your results, they continually advertise this on espn and ive wondered if its legit
I'll keep posting results, but it is legit. When I worked at Merrill Lynch there was a guy who was cock diesel and I asked him what he did and he said p90x, I didn't know what it was at the time.
I saw the commercials myself earlier this year and decided to try it. So far it's amazing.

I haven't tried any of these workout programs P90xetc etc, but I am a varsity ski racer, and for me, during off season, when we don't have custom team workouts I made my own program using this site.
www.exrx.net
It is an AMAZING reference for all things exercise (especially weight lifting) and anyone interested in getting in shape or improving themselves should take a look at this site. It literally covers EVERYTHING, if you get lost in the site at first persevere, it is well worth it. If anyone has any Qs on it they could also PM me...and no i dont work for them lol.

I had started it a while back but didn't keep up with it. I'm going to start up again this week. I also picked up Insanity from BeachBody and I'll probably be adding some of those workouts in instead of the cardio workouts in the P90X pack simply because they're far more intense.
