It's actually Kelley Sq that I'm closest to lol. Schenectady, that's great. Yes indeed. I was everywhere from Mohawk Mall to Rotterdam Square. I grew up in the Schenctady/Rotterdam area. Ghetto must have tipped you off.

I read minds, and, obviously, it's very good for poker. Maybe I should make a series about it...hehe
And I knew it was Mohawk Mall, dang it, dunno why I said Colonial. Was it called that too at some point? If you step into the Vernon and ever meet Al who runs: http://www.hotelvernon.com/ and is making a documentary film of the place, tell him Joe Tall sent you and I'm sure he'll buy you many beers. Al is this guy: http://www.albombz.com/img/wword.gif
Ever been to that diner, dang, forget the name but it's not far from Rotterdam Jct (like that actual Railroad Jct). Argh, I'll come ot me, give me a day or two...

I do a good bit of mind reading myself. Always nice. I think it was called Colonial at some point yes. Thanks for the heads up.
I'll be sure to induce free beers if given the chance hehe. There are so many diner's, I don't know that I could pinpoint. You ever play any of the underground games in the Schenectady/Latham area?

Do you know where you're gonna go to law school? I graduated about a year and a half ago.
heh, that's the decision of the season. It's a toss up between Yale and NYU. Depends whether I get a full ride to NYU or not and whether I can stomach another 3 years in New Haven =)
what kind of law do you practice if you practice?

I'm a litigator at a regional firm in my hometown (not biglaw, but 100+ attorneys). I do a lot of labor and employment work. I'm not sure I'll be practicing for long, though. Thinking about teaching (and a million other things).
If you don't mind, I'll offer two cents on your decision:
If you know you want to use your law degree, and you know you want to do public interest work, go to Yale. They'll pay back all of your debt if you're not earning enough (something like under 80k), and you'll meet the most amazing people. I went to Harvard (also turned down a ride at NYU), and I had the most incredible classmates-- people who I genuinely feel too humble to call peers. Plus, for public interest and nontraditional work, Yale is on a different level than any other law school. NYU is good too, though, particularly for international stuff. And being born and raised in CT, I can totally sympathize re: New Haven.
If you maybe don't want to practice, and don't want your poker winnings going to tuition or loans to the tune of some serious $$, go with the full ride!

Little description : Scholar system isnt the same the others.. I just have a little diploma in secondary study. I tried to be a biotechnologist, without really knowing what the job was. After that I tried 2 time to be accepted in a school to me a humorist but it failed, while I was working often.
Now im working full time for the army. Its well paid but I dont want to do this for the next 20-30 years.. so im actually working on my poker near full time when I dont work. I still live at my parent's home until my girlfriend finish her studie. I wish I could pay myself a part of house with poker. (Afghanistan isnt a option my gf like)
Btw, my 50$ is now to 850$ + and Messiah is my poker coach.

Random Fact: I was playing two years ago at Bellagio and made preflop raise, saw the flop HU, and then took down pot with kind of a large bet. After hand, fslexcduck says to friend, "a bet like that has to be aces, its sooooo obvious." I just look at her like "as if" and throw the AA face down into the muck. Owned!
