Why I came to DC: I went onto 2+2 last week and felt like clawing out my eyes after 10 posts, also because along time ago I made quite a bit of money at this game has been falling short recently. Duke for the NCAA and so far as the NBA goes I don't have a huge allegiance to anyone. It is just good to watch decent basketball unfortunately our national league has crumbled with Soccer taking off. Kind of follow all sports here including both the Crows in the AFL and the Reds in our National Soccer comp as well as the cricket. By follow, I mean watch if they are on the TV and it isn't being occupied by the reality tv dross my wife watches.

Wow Pale and Daylee, did you just recently got to poker or you just joined DC recently?
Are you able/allowed to get new hobbies once you have a career and a kid?
Are you considering ever quitting your jobs for poker? It must be a lot tougher with a family than when you are a broke ass student like me, how how much $/hr would you have to make to consider switch to poker?

I have been playing since 2006. Before that i used to play backgammon.

I dont have alot of time to do other stuff besides taking care of my fam and working, but i do have some spare time usually after my work around 23.30 when i come home.

I would love to play poker full time, but im not a supertalented player and i play 50nl.
I think i would need to make about 2400€ because in the netherlands they want 29% tax every month.

If that was posible and i had a 1 year buffer i would go for it. But making a litle extra each month for now is fine with me

I have been playing online since '06, on and off and playing a little bit of live very infrequently. I'm a losing player online and maybe a break even player live. If I can make a small profit online I would be very happy. I don't think I am cut out to make a living from poker. I make a really good wage and a car is included all with no risk, I'm afraid I like that too much. I just want to suck less
Time is the biggest problem with a new baby and work.
DC is looking alike a great move on all fronts though.

It is I, RazorEdge which means absolutely nothing to no one, as is the way it should be hehehee. I am a person who barely took a true interest in poker, I played a small bit on and off and that could not even be counted as much, but I am more interested now and want to play more, I realise I am crap, a losing player, and I thought to myself if I am going to invest money in poker I don't want to loose, it is not fun, I would rather quit than fork money out to this game (poker). So I checked out a few sites yesterday and this site appealed to me the most as it centered on small stakes, which I am clearly. So I signed up and I am currently on the 7 day trial.

Here is hoping this site appeals to me and gives me hope I can improve. If not I pack in the game. Hope to get to know you all, take care
