Sang and played guitar/piano in a shoegazer/indie rock band for 4 years. Writing songs in a group was awesome, but I had horrible stage fright (the irony) and quit playing live. However, I still write songs and have around 70 songs just sitting around waiting to record at the home studio I'm building.

I also worked at Jaws:The Ride @ Universal Studios Florida. It changed my life.

About Me: Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Moved to New Jersey 10 years ago. Graduated College in 2007 with a Bachelor's in Management. Got hired right out of school by an independent boutique investment firm worked on wall street for a year, it was like the movie boiler room except a little more legit, we actually sold real stocks not fake ones. Realized I hated it there and the daily grind of a sales job, cold calling, etc... Quit that job.

Got hired by Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, it was basically the exact same thing except with a bigger name, less cold calling, more types of investment products, bigger monthly goals and quotas, same job satisfaction(0), 60+ hour weeks, coming in on Saturdays, 4 hour daily commute(FML). Got laid off in January. Best thing that ever happened to me.

Didn't discover poker until after college, wasted money on $1 SNGs and 2NL for a couple years. Found DC in the beginning of 2009, made barely any posts, watched a couple videos. Studied for the Chartered Financial Analyst Exam from Feb 09 to June 09. June 2009, is when the full time pokering began. I have learned more in 2 months with DC than 2 years without it.

Deposited $600 on FTP, starting 8 tabling 2NL, crushed it for 100bb/100 hands, did the same thing at 5nl. Tubasteve told me to stop being an idiot 8 tabling and play 4 tables and to move up to 10NL bc i had 75 buy-ins, and to play at least 10k hands at 10NL. I am now at 25nl. Bankroll is around $850+. Graduated TubaSteve and Ybother's Whack'Em Course.

Cant, Im 18, Im to lazy to get a fake and Ill prolly lose money live anyway so Im just gonna wait it out till February when I can use my American ID (I can invert the month/day section since the American and Canadian Gov IDs are different, and fortunately both my numbers are under 10 lol)

Hey all giving the free trial a go.
NL hold'em player
Only play one table at a time.
Learning to put people on hands and play the player.
Started playing a mix at first: FR ring / sit & goes / tournaments.
Did so so at ring games.
won a lot of sit & goes.
Cashed for small amounts in a few tournaments.
Got bored with sit & goes.
Decided to play just ring games and focus on the foundation of my game.
I read a few books.
Did poker VT for a while but left because of the lack of cash game stuff.
Poker VT was well worth the money.
Started getting some coaching as well.
