Wow. Never noticed there were Go population in the poker world.
I played the game intensely through my highschool and university, probably like 6d++ at my peak (Im not familiar with the European ranking).
I can possibly teach someone in exchange for poker lol
daggermouth: definitely, hit me up with a PM to exchange contact details.
Eraser: 6d AGA is plenty strong, it's at least 4d in Europe, maybe even 5d. Glad to see there are many Go players in this community.
Lol I used to play go at a high level when I lived in Korea, studied with Pro players when I was fairly young etc.
(Brag) Moved to Australia when I was 13 or so and instantly became like the 3rd best player in country even tho I hadn't played since I was 11, won one of the national open tourneys.. I wanna say in 1999.
Don't know what like, grade that makes me, haven't played a game for YEARS.
Somebody PM me if they want a game or lesson, maybe we can trade go lessons for PLO coaching. ![]()
action: but are you in touch with today's games? (j/k, obviously)
Haha ![]()
I'm pretty certain it's all moved me by. I'm sure I can still play a little at least ![]()
Thanks Fanshawe for the second Go video! I enjoyed listening to your strategy. I'd like more please, maybe some very basic power point presentation. I should learn Go. Good luck, Yojimgari
