Just finished playing my worst session ever in my short online career.I was a massive fave in a 580bb pot.AA vs QQ ina 40bb pot till the turn and thats when it all went in and BOOM!.....goodbye 6 buy ins.
I went from being up about 7 or so buy ins to ending the session down 9.
How do u guys handle tilt? I have a pretty tough time dealing with the 2 outer bad beats.Losing flips and random 70-30 % situations im cool with.Once i get 2 outered i Blackout and cant stop the Bad Aggression.

Things that help me in a situation like that:

-Take a break, doesn't have to be a long one. Just don't play for 3 days and just read the forums, watch movies and thinks about the HH's at the forum without playing yourself. Poker usually is an addiction, you want to play as long as possible and see as many hands possible. You're excited about the game and can't stop etc. In that phase you will never be able to play your best game because you're too emotional. (you = a lot of beginning players) When you tilt your game become terrible and much much worse then when you play excited and a break is really a must.
-When you know your tilt is affected by the money you lose and you tilt harder when you lose big pots, try to play with 100bb and switch tables when you are very deep. People will not like you a lot for that but thats not important. You play te become better at the game and make some money. We don't care if some kid from Kazachstan is not going to like you. Once you will be more comfortable playing deep this will not be necessary anymore.
-Don't play too many tables when you're a beginner. Take your time for your decisions. When you get bad beats at a couple tables tilt comes faster then a bad beat at one table!

There are tons of books and movies about tilt but the only one can help you is yourself. Once you see the game more as fun and not a "job" you will have much less aggression. The only way to do that is not play every day but keep it as a hobby with breaks and other things to do.

Situations like that you just simply stop playing. Its totally fine and normal, playing on is very stupid and unnecessary.
