It\'s either on for everybody or it\'s not. Just to clarify, you don\'t actually mean a sidebar just for the forum right? There was a menu on the right side for the entire site, which had links that were the same as the ones on the top menu.

We\'re experimenting a bit to make the front page less confusing - I felt there were so many options on the front page a new user wouldn\'t know where to click and might just give up and leave. I\'m not against changing it back if it\'s a big thing though.

Yeah, sorry, meant the site menu.

I know you guys have business considerations so I\'m not casting a vote to put it back mostly because I can\'t really put my finger on why I prefer the 2p2-style sidebar; I guess I miss the all-in-one-place birds-eye view or something. Or maybe it was because I could scan the site real fast w/less mouse travel than having to repeatedly go back to the top and click another menu; aren\'t sure.

I\'ll get used to it; was just hoping there was a per-user option for the sidebar.

I really liked the old forum sidebar - is it possible to enable some admin setting on your end that would allow me to turn it back on via my profile?

Sorry to be a baby and ruin your fun

I think I know why I like the site sidebar - I can position my mouse over it, click a link, see if any topics have updates, then use the scroll wheel to go through each the same way (vids, forums, articles and blog).

It\'s no big thing, but I liked having the site menu on the side too, I guess I got used to it.
