Heh, my husband made a deal with me - I could open it if I stopped jumping up and down incessantly yelling "wutizitwutizitwutizitwutizit?!" I also let him "open" his present of old school Super Mario World - he's already beaten the first castle so...
This was such a good trade by me.

I'd suggest a panini machine. It's the single most used appliance we own aside from the fridge, is easy to use and clean, and makes sandwiches a whole lot tastier.
Got a panini machine you like or would recommend?

No first-hand experience with it, but wouldn't a 360/PS3 do the same thing w/ Netflix while also being a 360/PS3?
Yes. Also there are stand alone blu-ray players that can do this as well, if you want to spend less than the cost of a PS3 or 360. Also some TV models but that's not near as reasonable.
