i've been racking my brain trying to think of what to get people, so i figured why not start a thread and maybe out of this people can find good gift ideas!!!
i volunteer a cpl things i have/have had my eye on:
Tumi Vapor luggage
-Tumi makes the best luggage IMO, already have a small one but my bigger luggage is a POS
Flip Mino HD
-have one of these and record video all the time now. went to film school and had literally 0 interest in ever being behind the camera until i started using this. super simple and intuitive and the video quality is really high. +, one of the cocreators of 2m2mm just did their first ad campaign!
Superman costume
BAM!

My parents just built an uber surround sound system but they have like 9 million remotes, so I think imma get them the wireless logitech harmony 1100, it has a 3.5inch lcd screen and automates everything
Chaz,
Think about getting the Harmony 900 instead. I have had a couple touch screen remotes and always gone back to hard button remotes. The problem with touch screen remotes is you always have to be looking at the stupid thing to work it. With the hard button remotes you get used to the feel aspect and just start working it without even really having to look at it. If they don't need the RF part then just get the Harmony One and save a bunch of loot.

also, im not balla like krantz - i got my baby brother a slimmy wallet. pretty neat little gift, i think.

The thing I really like about these is you can put one in your pocket and forget it's there. It weighs less than my cell phone.

+1, Emil and I have that one and it's pretty awesome, I have no idea how we got it programmed but it is so easy to use and controls literally everything in the apartment. Booyah.

I knew I would regret walking into the Apple store at the mall. I have a 24" iMac I bought in June, but those new 27" displays just absolutely destroy it. Now I want one
Playing in Circuit Event 1 at Harrahs in AC on my birthday. Gold circuit ring would be a pretty slick birthday present, plus I'll be rockin the DeucesCracked shirt. Representin!

The new amazon kindle looks pretty sweet too.
Got the gf a kindle not too long ago and she freakin' loves it. She didn't even know what it was and actually told me to return it because it was too expensive. Now she can't live without it.
If anyone else has a video game-playing gf who also has a Wii, they may want to look into the newest Mario Bros. game. It's a classic 2d side-scroller and up to 4 people can play it simultaneously.
The complete set of The Wire is always a good gift.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a sick game that has taken up a good bit of my time lately.
As for what I'm asking for, my Amazon wish list has a few poker books and this slick Waring Pro Waffle Maker!

If the person your buying the gift for spends alot of time on the computer buying them a good wireless mouse is always a great gift. The logitech mx620 is an amazing mouse for people with big hands and solves alot of cramping issues. They also have amazing customer support (I just got a new mouse free because my 3 yr old mx600 broke)

Unfortunately the way its wired they are gunna need the RF part, but I think the RF works with the 900, so thanks I'll check it out.
(EDIT) It is actually the 890 that has the RF extender, but they are essentially the same.
Thanks everyone.
