nice progression, learned a lot faster than I did for sure. its a real testament to how training sites have changed things.

just remember that 10/20 is a nasty nasty game and you aren't really rolled for it.

thanks for the advice but I still play 3/6 and 5/10 as my standard game and will only sit at 10/20 games where I feel lilke I have an edge. I've never played more than 2 tables of 10/20 at the same time yet.

I got one question regarding progressing through stakes. It would be greatly appreciated if Blah or any other who is beating 200nl or higher 6max games.

Let's say if I would like to some day play profitably 200nl, which is the hardest part in terms of time and work required (of course it can vary a lot):

Learning to play so that you can beat easily 10nl.
Progressing from a winning 10nl player to a winning 50nl player.
50nl->100nl
or 100nl->200nl

Thanks!

I'd actually probably say NL10-NL25, though I can't say for sure, this is just based on what I experience with some students. Nothing comes that close to the 1/2-2/4 gulf, although that gulf is shrinking as more 2/4 players add 1/2 tables.

50NL to 200NL and 200NL to 600NL are really, really big jumps, generally 100NL plays a lot like 50NL and 400NL is a "tweener" stake where you find the best 200NL players taking shots and the MSNL regulars camping the shot takers.

All I have to say is stay the fuck away from 600NL, it's pretty much only MSNL reg on MSNL reg wars fwiw.

200->400NL isn't easy, but 400NL is almost 600NL
