I did not btw. I figure Ive been crapping away for 41 years on my own just fine and dont like the idea of a bathroom attendant. Sure he keeps the toilet clean and hopefull Im marginally less likely to get hepatitis or crabs over the last fat *** who used the john, but come on, thats basic business practice, to have a clean toilet. Plus for all I know the bathroom attendant doenst even handle the toilet cleaning.

I once gave a janitor, who I definitely saw cleaning toilets at the Bellagio a few dollars bc I know his job sucks and he is most likely just getting started in our Country , and I was having a good day, so fine. But the attendant is different, I dont like being made to feel like I ought to tip, just because I happened to have the need to go.

What say you?

So whats my point here on DC. Its just that some, SOME, not all of the mods on two plus two act like highschool girls. There is nothing wrong witht the threads, nothing. The issue is I have criticized their modding in the past.

Anway, I like two plus two, and Im not tryng to create at DC v two plus two war or anything. I speak only for myself. Not DC or pokerroad or anyone else. I just want it to be clear how SOME of their mods act. LOL

oh sorry, the threads themselves are very basic ones. THey are threads IN OOT over there. In one I asked about life coaching and the other is reproduced above, concernign whether you should tip a bathroom attendant. Its incredible. The real issue is I criticised the way that forum was moderated, and Ive been getting trolled by a few of their mods ever since. Its just inane and silly. W/e. Like I say I actually really like two plus two , and Im sure moderating isnt easy, but I dont like getting pushed around by a bunch of high shool hall monitor types and I thought the members here might like to know how SOME of them act. Again, I only speak for myself and this speciic situation, and Im nto trying to create some DC v two plus two drama.

Who's the mod? Deserves to be outed.

thats just it there are TWO mods basically trolling me and sending me curses. One told me that Im a cock sucker. LOL

Again, im not totally innocent, I did criticize their modding skills, or lack thereof, and I did so in their ABout the Forums section where I thought that stuff belongs. I have had a number of conversatinos with respected posters and players over there about the moderating. I jsut figured its time someone stood up to some of these clowns. You cannot paint everyone there into the same bin, I mean there is some excellent moderating and like I say I really like two plus two. Its just these two mods are trolling me.

I dont want to get into personal screen names, and make the whole debate a personal issue, even thou it is. If your really interested you can look in OOT over there and see them calling me cock sucker, etc and see who is doing it. my sn there is TheGaussBeast. You can also see my threeads which they closed for no good reason. I have also been banned from posting in OOT and I think a permabann for all of two plus two is comign my way LOL> I mean they might not be great threads, but they certainly dont deserve closing, banning, and being called names and cursed at. Thats what im saying, its incredible, these mods are children.

Pretty disgraceful. IDK, but I've long had a thing against 2+2. Not based on massively extensive experience admittedly but even just casually reading a lot of the forums for 15 mins, I often come across hostile, intolerant, unhelpful or belittling responses from some regular posters. DC community puts it to shame in that respect. Doubt I'll ever post there.

This is true Steve, no doubt, but you cant throw the baby out with the bathwater. Alot of great stuff goes on their as well, like uncovering the UB scandal for ex. I just wanted to make my point about these specific individuals and this situation.

So why do you even bother posting in a forum modded by jerks like this? You could make threads like this all across the webz, including this place. If you're really serious about this issue, I guess you could just forward these PMs to Somerset of the higher-ups at 2p2, but tbh I don't really see the point in getting all worked up about some immature kids flaming you on the Internet.
FWIW I wouldn't tip the guy, but I'm European and over here it's not customary to tip for silly services you never asked for

Well heres the thing. Im not all that worked up and Im not into some crazy revenge scheme, Im a 41 year old lawyer who likes poker and enjoys posting about it even thou Im terrible at it, BUT, but but but, it is one of my pet peeves in life to stand up to those who think they are better than others, and to fight back against abuse of power. Its what I do for a living and what motivates me. I am pushing back against these clowns becaue I dont want them to treat the next guy this way. Maybe a younger person who is making his first online post or soemthing, someone who does not have the intellectual moxy to stand up for themselves. Its a small thing, but I dont like people who act this way and Ill always push back given the chance, no matter how small or unimportant the issue.

Btw I did speak to Mat Sklansky about it and hope to talk it out with Mason as well (both of whom I have enourmous respect for) . If they have mods tooling on people over there then these guys who put so much into two plus two should at least know about it.

anyway, thats it, I gave my thoughts and its not like Im goign to make this some personal crusade. At the end of the day its no huge deal and belive me I got other stuff I shoudl be tending to, including enjoying all the GOOD content they have over there.

yeah i mean those guys were definitely out of line, but its still pretty standard OOT fare.

OP, I am the same way as you on this. I stand up to bullshit. I guess trying to teach someone a lesson. But it is a weakness for me though, because I tilt. It probably comes from being the oldest of 5 kids.

Those mod-responses are way over the line. Take it to the top. Less energy and best way to resolve the situation.

BTW, if I have change in my pocket, I even tip the bums these days (not the professional bums). As far as the restroom guy, I always thought this was an unnecessary, but what the heck, someone is at least trying to work -- so I help out WHEN I am able too. But don't feel guilty about not tipping them.

seriously though, you can't start tipping threads in OOT. the forum gets so much traffic that there would be like 3 of the same thread every day. there is a reason for the madness, you should see the forum when the mods are slacking...yeouch. again the mods don't have to be douches but im pretty sure it says no tipping threads in the forum rules.

Its kind of moot thou, because after calling me a douche, a cocksuker and an emo, ( I meann I did say that OOT moderatng blows goats, because it does) they have banned me from posting at all in OOT. LOL. Like I say im not perfect. Its just Im getting cursed at continually in PMs by mods. I guess you have to take the good with the bad ove there, but i think pms from mods cursing me out is a bit much. W/e, on to the next life challenge. tnx for your thoughts steve, I value your opinion.
