I joined in late January and have turned $200 into $1500, and it just keeps growing each month

Hi,

First of all I want to thank all DC staff and the great community I've found here.

I've joined DC in December, totally beginner in poker, I've deposit 25$ on PS and started playing 2NL.

Now, my BR is almost 400$ and this week I will level up for sure to 10NL.

Lost most of my relatively small bankroll on Pokerstars (10nl & 25nl).....
BUT I WON A 2010 BMW 120i at the local casino. (raffle from tickets won during play)

NOTE: I do think I am growing in poker, because I'm ALSO making a bit of cash in live play (this substantially makes up for my online losses).

ive run pretty good in 2010, not gonna lie

I have only worked 1 day so far in 2010 (it sucked haha). I have been able to complete my bachelor dissertation while paying my bills by grinding in the evening hours.

I managed a whole month with a positive red line.

My goal was to play less poker. I am succeeding mildly. Latest poker purchase: a replacement diamond ring for the missus. I had not bought one in 21 years. Oddly the prices were about the same, although then I paid retail and this time I paid cost plus 10%.

I made my return to poker after about a 2 year hiatus by depositing $100 on Stars almost a year ago to the day. Today I'm playing 400NL 6max without ever depositing another dollar.

I deposited 10 or so days ago and played 25NL 6 max 6 tables. I am up around 380 dollars from then till now playing a little on the side! I have been playing great, great plays, reads and so on.....:-D

I was actually up 600 dollars until 2 days ago! Lost 8 buy ins in the last two sessions where I played bad......THis is a sign that the success is getting to my head.....

I am now working on living in the moment, staying grounded and detached, at all times, not only at the poker table. I go to the gym regularly. Now I am also studying hard for university, and expect to be well prepared for my exams in 2 months. Living a balanced content life and doing my best!

I have improved and come a long way comapred to before and expect to improve to the extent where I can say I am just really good at living life!!!

Wow. This is great. What was your BR when you leveled up to 400NL, I mean how many BIs?
