I'm a life long Ranger fan (yeah I know, we suck) so I can't root for Philly. Not real big on Boston either. I'm old enough to remember the days when there were no Islanders or Devils and the Flyers weren't the Broad Street bullies yet and the Bruins were the Rangers' biggest rival. A Boston Montreal conference final would be kind of cool. Two original 6 teams in a classic matchup.

Reading this thread earlier today made me watch a ton of hockey fights on YouTube, the first involving Montreal and the Flyers in the pregame warm-ups. Then I just watched brawl after brawl.

Then I watched UFC knockouts.

There were some great brawls back in the day. The rules were different then and you used to see guys fighting all over the place. Watch the old Bobby Clark Flyer teams from the 70's. Those guys fought every night!

You know, I hate the Flyers so much, but I have to give them tons of credit. That was one of the greatest comebacks in the history of professional sports. They're a gritty gutsy team and I don't see any reason why they can't go all the way and win the cup. You know what else is amazing? Philly was the 7 seed and they will have home ice in the conference finals!

False, look at Montreal playoff... they played like 5 "7th game" already.. + pre season before the playoff, they were close to not make iot
