I liked it, though i found the first one more interesting.
Probably because he lived a sort of more "normal" lifestyle.
Good job though! Editing was good aswell ![]()

+1
I think the parts about losing are great. Busto to Robusto does a good job of showing the real consequences of professional playing. It's a tenuous existence, and a hard one. He mentions being lucky early in his career, and combined with the sickening losses, you can see just how narrow the path to robusto is. I think alot of people don't want to see it, especially those who aspire to playing professionally. And people who want to think of the game as 95% skill and 5% luck. To know run bad, and even imagine run bad at those stakes is different than watching the guy go through it. The toll Zeebo paid was a bit different, but I applaud the series for giving it (the toll) proper importance.
^^ totally agree
Well done.
I watched it only once so far, but I have some initial reactions.
First, I think a lot of people, especially over at 2p2, kind of miss the point that it's not meant to be like 2 months 2 million or anything. I think it's natural to want it to take a story line and have a happy ending, but I give them credit for not even attempting that. He's already made the "goal", this is the after, this is the current life, for better and worse.
However, I did feel like it was missing some stuff. Like what happened between the SnG's, quitting school and all of a sudden being a high stakes pro with millions. That gap is pretty wide and glaringly absent, imo. Obv they had their reasons for the content that they chose but that was the part missing to me and what I kind of wanted to see, the epic rise of an online pro. Again, just not the story at hand.
One criticism I do have is that I thought it got pretty repetitive with all the talk between "gamblers can lose it all" and "I live this glamorous lifestyle" talk. Hearing Robl talk over and over about this fabled Vegas lifestyle he leads got kind of old and a little sad to me.
I kind of just let the Victory Poker stuff go by like entertaining commercials, they really don't add much content.
I don't know how much I like it but it's definitely pretty good. I'll watch it again.

lol Yeah. It was definitely more fun to watch Lost and 24 straight through (DVDs) when I start watching them. At least Lost smoothed up its delivery -- every week instead of every sporadic other week maybe. (fans were complaining)
Overall I think it was good but.. a bit disappointing. It's not that it is bad it's just that imo the 1st one was sooooooo much better and well-made that I had higher expectation than this with Robl.
gl with this project!
nice work guys
WoT

Sweetness!
quality was great, thats to be expected though.
actual docu wasnt great though. good, not great.
I just couldn't get behind g2cu the way I got behind zeebo, but I don't really think it was the fault of the production crew. It's possible that it stemmed entirely from his terrible squat form and the fact that he was doing bicep curls (Andrew - FIRE YOUR PERSONAL TRAINER). The production was great again, however, and I'm definitely looking forward to future installments. I'd love to see someone profiled who's not nearly as robusto as the first two, although that may go too far against the spirit of the series.
