Just finished watching it. The production quality was really good and it kept my attention for 40 minutes or whatever it was. I also thought it was cool to hear the dad's/family's perspective on the whole thing. But I felt it was too negative for many of the parts. Always talking about him losing money and being stuck however many tens of thousands. Besides the talk of SNGs there really wasn't anything mentioning him even winning money. What did you guys think?

I thought exactly the same. I really liked it...BUT...it felt like it was only PART ONE of the story. I was sitting there watching the end credits and thinkin, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MR.X????? In ANY good movie, Mr.X has to lose -- and the Hero always beats the villain AND gets the woman (happily ever after).

One very positive note. He inspired me to get back to working out and running starting tomorrow morning. He's got that part absolutely right. He's definitely thinking like a professional - except for all of the partying which will eventually catch up with him -- if he is doing it all of the time.

The gym scene near the start was painful to listen too....his friend could even be worse.

Squat form sucks though
