Weird feeling at the table

Hi there

I am a little bit worried about this sincerely. I have this really weird feeling about one reg player at 25NL. He is playing a ton of hands at 25NL ~10hours/day (apparently without taking any breaks obviously I cant confirm that 100% cuz I did not stay behind my screen for 10h) Rush Poker and he always has his stake size with 50bb. I have tried many times to chat with him and no answers. His style looks like a program because he is playing extremely nitty. He never played a hand below QQ+. I might be wrong but I feel that he might be a bot. I have never ever seen something like that before otherwise I would not post this thread. Thats just too weird to be real. I have also heard that FTP has been invaded by bots recently. Have you ever had this feeling? What should I do? Frown

I encountered on FT what I was pretty certain was a bot. Personally... I LOVE them. They are just so predictable and easy to play against, the moment this guy would reraise I would simply fold. Then I would simply collect small pot after small pot.

As far as what you should do I say steal small pots off it until its busto, then at your discretion do what you will.

This thread is not about how to play/adjust against them because its pretty obvious but rather discussing about this possible bots invasion which is totally illegal. How did you find out it was a probable bot?

I would raise and it would consistently call/fold over and over until bing I raise it reraises thats when I went fold. The table had about 4-6 players but no one else seemed to notice and would get stacked.

I watched it stack a round of players mean while as people were coming and going I just kept up the old raise etc. The whole time it didn't utter a single word it was multitabling 6 tables but hell I can do 12 tables and still squeeze in a conversation.

If he's playing that tight then you want him at your table as his style will be extremely profitable for you. No chat doesn't mean anything, I have my chat off most of the time. If you're losing sleep over this increda-nit, see above post.

there are "people" that have played hundreds of thousands of hands at a positive winrate at 2nl according to PTR, so yeah i wouldn't be surprised if there are bots on FTP.

seriously there's no way in hell this is a real person unless they're some WoW style gold farmer type:

Basically everyone is aware that FTP is invaded by bots but no decisions are taken, right? I have reported my suspicion to FTP but does that make a big change on a larger scale, not sure about that.

Why would you want FT to ban players that are easy to beat? I'd leave it alone and add him to my buddy list.

The problem is that even though bots are easily beatable for us they still drain money away from the tables 24/7.
Also by leaving them to play you encourage the owners to continue development of more capable bots.

Drain money? Hmmm, I guess you mean that they keep the games going and the rake would drain the game, because I see them as donators. I don't think we have anything to worry about from NL bots for a while. As far as continued development is concerned I believe that will continue regardless.

I guess what I'm saying is that as hard as the games are getting I'll take the fish any way I can, be it man or machine.

I think limit players are the ones that need to be concerned for now.
