Super stoked for this trip. Also if anyone will be in town for SXSWi and doesn't just live in Austin, let us know. Tech geeks are taking over the city for the next week.

The problem with Saturdays, esp. nights is that a lot of bars will have live music.

Depending on what time you have planned, B.D. Rileys is about 3 blocks from where DC met up last year and it's a bit more low-key. The live music doesn't start till 10:30p.

I know it's not Seattle or Boston, but the music sucks that bad in Austin?

I recall reading somewhere that there is a DC Seattle HQ. I was just wondering when are we gonna have a Seattle meet up? Sorry to thread jack btw.

I'm here in Austin. Few cool places I like to go on west 6th street(more chill, little more of an older crowd): J.Black's, Mol Tov, The Union, Annie's West. If you're looking for more of a college crowd go to east 6th street. I know The Blind Pig is good, but not too sure beyond that I haven't been in a while. You really can't go wrong on a Saturday night in Austin. I'm down to meet up, let me know where y'all are headed.
