Is it a good idea to switch poker sites to benefit from the first deposit bonus?

I was planning on opening a cake and absolute poker account so I could move my bankroll of about $600 to get the first deposit bonus. Is that a good idea? What are peoples experiences with doing things like this?

Thanks! Yeah I just noticed that rakeback button near the top of the webpage. That gave me the idea to do it. I really appreciate the feedback. I thought since I'm a slightly winning tournament player, if I can at least break even at the low stakes I can make money via rakeback and deposit bonuses.

Good to know that the pros do it. I didn't know if it was a dumb idea or not.

With all the poker rooms on the market, you can build a massive BR just from the initial deposit bonuses Wink I might open a new account soon too

I think if you are from US it makes things bit more harder.
