i usually 3b to 11bb when the btn opens 3x, this was just an autopilot mistake considering most people are opening to 2.5x.
it's hard to find hands than can call the flop, check back the turn, and bet the river for value unless its a slow played set, or an Ax that floated the flop and decided to check back the turn.
BUT, there's also not any missed draws...
My question is what the general consensus here is on this line, and if there's enough bluffs in an unknowns range to call.

If you don't bet the turn, you should bet the river.
I can see that. If I bet the turn and get called, can we confidently x/f the river? Any of the hands I get value from on the turn will usually check back the river.

wow tough.
Without some info on villain I probably fold.
We would get some insight if we call and see Ax or JJ-KK or some 66 turned into a bluff. So I guess its not that terrible to call although in general its bad to call just to get to know your opponent. If you look at your range, do you bet QQ-KK on the turn? If the answer is yes, its probably the best hand you can have on the river and you should call.
Sorry I cant come up with a good answer.

Which is probably why its better to check turn and bet river when you dont have a clear indicator of his flop floating range.

If he bets turn, we check call then check fold river?
Depends on aggression frequencies, preflop fold to 3bet, fold flop cbet (in 3bet pots), and how likely he is to vbet Ax for 2 streets.

It looks like he hit his A on the turn. As Aaron Wilt says in real life NL grinder. A lot of people will check this A on the turn If they hit it and use it as a scare card if they dont. Then bet the river for value.

I agree, that's why I think I'd double barrel this turn card.
