hello here is a hand not so sure
i do not play with hud but i track hands
vilain is a new reg so stats are not so relevant and reads needs to be confirm
i m suprised with such nitty stats, during the session he stole a lot btn and 3 bets me a lot
edit : i put his stats for this session 22/17 6.5% 3bet

$100.00 No Limit Hold'em - 5 players -

BTN: $126.83 - VPIP: 36, PFR: 24, 3B: 2, AF: 1.5, Hands: 149
Hero (SB): $106.98 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 19, 3B: 7, AF: 3.6, Hands: 45148

BB: $101.50 - VPIP: 19, PFR: 13, 3B: 5, AF: 2.7, Hands: 2089
3 bets me a lot ip??
3bet shvoe AA 100bb
good fold 3bet +++++ ++ ++
NYBK KK
DOKN = stenght ?(3betvs raiseà
we can bluff him?++ -
good fold cb ? +
CB 1/2 drawy and 3bet vs raise
X/F draw
X/F boar paire
C/R TPTK sur dry + raakebtut turn 2 paires TRP
2 barr DEPO KK sur A turn...
do no bet missed draw? mmm can do it 1/2 pot
X/R 2 overs QQx ss
RAISE ip TPTK drawy
FLAOT 2 overs et bet 1/2 turn and check river
bet vs miss cb?

UTG: $101.50 - VPIP: 18, PFR: 17, 3B: 8, AF: 4.9, Hands: 3928
CO: $97.00 - VPIP: 15, PFR: 5, 3B: 4, AF: 1.8, Hands: 211

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is SB with K Heart T Heart
2 folds, BTN raises to $3, Hero calls $2.50, BB raises to $12, BTN calls $9, Hero calls $9

ok during the session he 3bets me a lot, i mcan 4bet or call since i m nearly sure i m ahead his 3bet range (but in fact i do not kknow if he 3bet polarized or depolaried IP), i think standard is to believe he s polarized IP
since Btn is a bad player i call to keep him in hand with a hand which plays well multiuway
it's hard for me to 4bet without being commited and i dont have enough history to 4bet call KTs (i do not know which crazy history i would need..)
i plan to be agressive on flop with my drawy (even 2 overs on baby coordinated flop)

Flop: ($36.00) 5 Heart 2 Diamond T Spade (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $20.00, BTN folds, Hero calls $20
he CB 70%, this his a bad board for my calling range so i epxect him to CB his whole range, i have top pair i do not see any merit to raise (no value, no protection needed) so i call

Turn: ($76.00) 8 Diamond (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $69.50, Hero ???
ok why does he shoves there? that does not look like a value bet i put him on a bluff and i think its a insta call
i need 32% equity
lets say he 3bets 8% (that souds raisonnable since he 3bets me quite a lot i believe for the session and given the positions i give him this range QQ+,AKs,AKo,A7o-A2o

Board: 5h 2d Ts 8d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 76.320% 76.32% 00.00% 3123 0.00 { KhTh }
Hand 1: 23.680% 23.68% 00.00% 969 0.00 { QQ+, AKs, AKo, A7o-A2o }

i got far more than need so it's a insta call

what to you think? thanks have a nice day

ps even if he only bluff AK i still have to call

Board: 5h 2d Ts 8d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 46.212% 46.21% 00.00% 549 0.00 { KhTh }
Hand 1: 53.788% 53.79% 00.00% 639 0.00 { QQ+, AKs, AKo }

Fold pre. You've no reason to believe villain is squeezing wide enough. I also think you're overestimating the frequency with which villain spazz-shoves complete air on the turn. That said, I wouldn't be folding turn against anyone I thought this was a flat pre against.

How is BTN playing vs. 3bets? If he's decent his range should be adjusted accordingly.

pre is a horrible call to the squeeze and the call. no "as played"...you are oop vs 3 players with reverseimplied hand

Pre: I'd rather 3 bet than flat pre. In the BB I like flatting pre more. The fact BB is squeezing somewhat wide is a reason not to flat pre. I'd fold pre the 2nd time around.

Flop: easy c/c.

Turn: I don't think you have 32% vs any reasonable range. I think its way too optimistic to think a nit is jamming AK or some overcards hand here. I'd say he has a FD at the minimum.

If BTN is terrible and BB is aggressive just 3bet to isolate the weaker player and foldout the squeezer, as played if the BTN is bad enough I could see myself getting into this same possible situation - in which case you're probably potstuck -

@Rohan

The problem is that if you have a depolarized 3betting range vs the bad player then you don't really have any hands worth calling his squeeze with because they're all in your 3bet range and set mining is probably burning money, it's the result of a structural flaw in how the blinds are given position on each other post-flop in ring games.

you can still have a 4b/c and a backraise range. so its not that you are folding to a squeeze 100% of the time anyway

Just because you can have a 4b/c and backraise range doesn't mean that you should have a 4b/c and backraise range here, your pre-flop calling range is probably something like ATo, KJo, QJo, KTs, QJs, QTs, JTs, Axs, 88-22 at best, how much of that do you really want to start 4b/c and backraising off into a squeezing range that probably squeezes AK, 99+?

You can't really have a 3betting range vs a competent button and a calling range vs a competent big blind at the same time in the SB, being able to call at all is really just an exploitable strategy vs the big blind's lack of aggression.

You should more or less 3bet or fold in the SB unless you have a reason not to vs. the button, maybe even vs the CO.

na i highly disagree with reg only having AK 99+ because he will squeeze widely for value vs fish´calling range and the here discussed fact that its hard to play back as a reg in sb in this spot
and as sb you can just do the math of how often he has to fold to make a backraiseshove with all the pps etc profitable. i guess those are very usual dynamics and vs some regs i therefor wanna squeeze say 77 in bb´s shoes because i expect them to backraise shove a lot of pps
in spefici hand i still 3b pre and i i call i fold to the squeeze as fast as i can

It's irrelevant if the villain is squeezing a depolarized value range, we're only concerned with his 3b/c range, i.e. AK, 99+, which is really hard to show a profit back-raising against because he has to be squeezing an absurd amount to make back-raising any pocket pair profitable.

You really just want to 3bet a huge value range vs. the fish and muck anything speculative here.

Why would you ever, ever want to play KT oop in a big pot Against a reg

Inn regards to the turn shove, His flop bet sets him up for a turn shove. How could he do anything else if he's going to bet.
