It seems like when I raise preflop after a bunch of limpers, I almost always get 3-4 callers or zero callers. I rarely get the pot heads up or even 3 way. If one of the early limpers calls, the rest think they are getting odds to call even if I make it as large as like 8-10bb. If the early limpers fold then the rest just fold too most of the time. This obv makes it tough to win pots post flop when I don't flop a hand. Should I just be fine with getting a lot of 4 way pots and playing fit or fold? Or should I just raise even larger and be happy taking down the ~$11 right there preflop very often, especially since with 4-5 way pots, even when I flop TP a lot of the time someone will flop a set or 2pair or something?

you, sir, are quick
i kid. this is just one of the realities of LLSNL. one thing you can do postflop is get away with a lot of undersized bets. you'll be amazed at how inflexible your fold equity is betting 1/4 pot versus betting 4/5 pot. they just don't care about anything other than their own holdings.

Big key point to crushing 1/2 is to figure out the various betsizing amounts that makes them call various ranges. They often have a few ranges that they play vs different betsizes, find out where they are inelastic to betsizing then exploit this as hard as you possibly can.

,plus 1 to all of this...this is the most profitable type of game flow. These guys are in the habbit of entering pots with small PPs Axs, suited anytging and the occasional limped premium lol. I think its mandatory to raise it big with premium pairs and hope you get that dude to call you with 68s and flop top pair and put you on AK. If you are putting in any serious time at 1/2 live you will crush this game. really.

Small stakes live poker is showdown poker, some games literally almost every hand goes to showdown, so you just build a big pot when you figure to win at showdown, and either fold or pot control otherwise.

maybe, but not every table
the most important thing to remember is that every table is going to be a good one with very bad players, but they will all be different kinds of bad. every table is going to have a pretty unique optimal strategy. sure, you could just say "play solidly" and "don't bluff a lot" or whatever and still make a good profit, but the leaks from table to table at these stakes are going to be so varied that the best advice is to pay attention and try a lot of things to exploit your opponents.
