Hey,
villain is 30/23 3bet 6% really active in the blinds call BB vs steel 24% 3bet BB vs steal 18%
reads: -stationy
-cbet depolar, calls raise
-cold calls strong 3bet AQo
I'm about 27/23 steal SB 64% probably not fold happy in those situations
dynamic, was a rather reggy table, but nothing fancy going on

Pre I like calling against his range, what do you think? He was not 5bet happy.
Flop, he cbets depolar, and calls a raise light, so I took that read (and the board texture) and went for the c/r for value. Planning on barrelling for value.
What do you think about this play on the flop (especially in a 3bet pot)? Is his turn raise vs my strong looking range draw (or spazz) heavy to call it off?
How do you like my sizing?
thanks guys!

As played I'm never folding on the turn. I don't like the c/r on the flop. I think this guy has a pretty wide range and so are we (based on the fact that you don't like to fold pre in bvb situations). I think this guy will barrel flop and turn IP with air and value so I prefer to c/c the flop. I think c/r eliminates all hands that we beat on the flop. by c/c he might barrel them to try to push us out the hand.

If i decide to c/r the flop i would just jam the turn myself, whats your reasoning behind betting smaller? (hint, think about what you are trying to make you opponent do)
As played, im never folding, hoping to see worse Qx some of the time, given that we take this line on the flop, i would assume that kind of agression was going on..?

hint is actually great, shoving will get a paranoid guy like him call more than our random betsizing.
Against this oponent I had some history and was going for uncommon value spots, not sure if a 3bet pot is the right situation though.

ur x/r is too small this deep, oop on a super drawy board
turn bet is like wtf? if my quick math is right u've left your self with like $50 in a pot that is over $160... do you really expect to give the illusion that you might fold if he jams?
so yeh x/r bigger and jam the turn.. i'd probably prefer flatting flop and x/r this delicious turn card but it is what it is

Well i actually think this hand is played pretty well if we would have jamed the turn. There are obv an argument for making the c/r bigger but i like the small one in this scenario since we keep villains range a little wider , I actually would try and make it a overbet on the turn vs players where there are alot of aggression going on since people think you are polarized and will call with more bluffcatchers.
edit: And since we make the c/r smaller he will have a decent amount of bluffcatchers in his range
edit2: Oh and btw, i like c/c as the first poster said also, but vs some players its better to induce aggression by c/r and stuff so i like how you played this hand on the flop.
