Party Poker $200.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 1510633
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

SB: $351.45
Hero (BB): $419.75
UTG: $201.35
MP: $517.94
CO: $602.09
BTN: $200.00

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with T Diamond T Club
3 folds, BTN raises to $5, SB raises to $20, Hero calls $18, 1 fold

Flop: ($45.00) A Heart 8 Club 7 Diamond (2 players)
SB bets $26.00

Final Pot: $45.00

BTN plays 29/26 over 130 hands, CO plays 21/17, with 7%3bet over 165 hands.

CO has a wide 3betting range imo, however 4betting and getting it in might be a bit too light considering where a bit deeper.

Not the best flop for me but I think villain will cbet alot here so...call ?

If you do continue then I think calling the flop and representing the Ace is your only line, that said do you have any reads on his SB range i.e. does he have a SB calling range, and if he does have a SB calling range what hands has he showndown in 3bet and called pots and specifically how does he play Axs?

i hate calling here with 99/TT/AQs, as that's exactly the diminishing value range people expect you to have.

Even deep, its prob. still a 4bet, but I'm not necessarily calling a shove. Is 4bet/folding here really that bad?

4bet folding is kinda turning my hand into a bluff, but TT is too good for that. I feel my hand beats his 3betting range, however not by a whole lot. So I called

AK AQ AJ, maybe random Axs hand is a bit part of his range, but I feel he will cbet this flop with his air range aswell.....

No, it isn´t. Either 4bet or fold pre, imho.

If BTN comes over the top (what he SHOULD have done in this case, almost regardless of his holding) - you´re toast. If BTN calls - you´re in a 3bet pot in sandwich position. And you can´t really call for sole set value because SB´s 3bet range is too wide and you´re not really deep. With 200+ bb it would be sth. different.

As played - if Villain is any competent, he should barrel you to the moon, because you almost never have a strong hand. Wink

agree withe 4 bet or fold. You can do some math with ranges to see if you want to 4bet/call or 4bet/fold.

Don't agree with the part villain "is any competent, he should barrel you to the moon" on this board since AJs and AQ is a large part of our perceived range and we're not folding those ever.

Eh, I'm not too hot on 4bet/folding or 4bet/calling TT 200bb deep because you're probably not getting your 4bet flat called by the SB that often. I think it's just a spot where you want to over call with your nuttier hands some percentage of the time for balance (it's pretty awesome for inducing 4bets from BTN as well)

Huh? Do you mean our "perceived" calling-down-range, or do you actually suggest calling pre with AJs and then calling down three streets?!

obv the first one, actual range doesn't matter.
