Nice co-incidence. I have been having problems with regs, who are sitting on CO/BU and keep raising my c-bets.

The author didn't re-evaluate the ranges after polarizing villain's 3bet. At this point we have approximately 40% equity which is also not too great to call with KJs against that particular range, because there are many hands that dominate us. Or am I wrong? My question is can we really push the villain off his range post-flop to show profit in the long run, especially at the micros?

Other than that - good job, but really looking forward to the Live Play section. Keep it up.

40% equity is all you need for direct pot odds because you already have some money in the pot. Of course we don't expect to make much money calling 3 bet with KJs vs 8% range but if you can lose less than 300bb/100 its higher EV than folding. Post flop becomes much easier too when villain has bunch of little equity hands in their range.

This is super important to understand why we are doing something. Same thing goes for blind defense, if we can lose less then we are "bound to", then losing less means showing a profit, am I right Blah ? Smile

First episode seems like an intro to the series, but looks very nice. I would like to watch your concepts.

The point is that the polarized range is much harder to play if you call their 3bets and play back at them post flop. Villain's going to be in a tough spot with all his small pocket pairs and suited connectors on a lot of boards.

Compare that to the non-polarized range, where if you call he has you dominated most of the time you both flop a pair.

Very excited for this series.

My only criticism is that 4 episodes devoted to Live play is far too much.

Yes, highest EV play doesn't mean it's always going to be positive EV. Folding for example is never going to be positive EV but we still click the fold button often.

Folding always has an EV of 0. The only thing that matters in poker is your current decision. Raising AJo UTG to 4bbs is +EV. If you get 3bet, the raise was still +EV as you couldn't know you were going to get 3bet at the point of raising. Folding to the 3bet has an EV of 0, not -4bbs.
