thank to threads13 for your post about that 44 in Sb spot and frequency we need vilain to 4bet/fold to make that shove EV+.

Is that mean that I can 3bet/fold my 44 in Sb if I think Vilain is not "4bet bluffing" enought ? (micro/small stakes players do not balance their 4bet ranges well, and have way more value than bluff in it.) Or is it really bad to 3bet/fold (turning a value hand into a bluff) and I shouldn't be 3betting at all (flatting) ?

its fine to 3-bet fold low pairs vs some people (those who open a wide range, fold to a lot of 3-bets, and never 4-bet bluff)

thanks for clearing that up.

Some people say that if we 3bet small PPs, we won't have enought strong made hands (sets) when we flat out of the blinds and c/r flops. What do you think about that ?

well, if somebody folds to a lot of c/r's, having strong hands isn't important...

on a blank, i might bet super, super small.

why?

I'd only say that i'm not too worried about A hi floats given that they will almost never turn their hand into a bluff.

Andrew

Are you saying that if he calls the flop with AQ/AJs/ATs etc, you don't think he will fire turns/rivers to try to get you off of AK/AQ? if so, why?

thin value

yeah, people should bluff there but they usually dont. obv if they did we could just c/c happily with our pairs then on the turn and/or riv.

If we 3bet preflop, like you said, its because we expect vilain to call with worst. If he call with worst (JT, T9s, etc), I think he would also call with AT. For JJ, I think its common to flat 3bet IP with that hand. He could have AT in his range and also JJ. And these two hands wont fold to a turn bet (on A turn). But if he is floating lite (because he isnt a good player and call too much) and we check turn, he could easily be bluffing us OR be value betting us and we dont even know when he bluff and when he value bet.

thx for all the quick reply Andrew! appreciate it and sry for all questions but I like your thinking method so I try to take the max info as I can from your vids. Smile

am I right to think like that ?

"thin value" : do you think you can get called by worst or its more for protection that a small turn bet is good?

turn float : I agree with that but in general, I dont think people will call flop w/A high and not bet the turn to try to get to showdown.

Can you clarify what it means to have a polarized and depolarized range please? does depolarized mean that you can have any hand as where polarized puts you on a small range of hands? thanks, sorry about my noobness lol

I remember hearing that Baluga and Kristy had 4 episodes done before black Friday, but after it they were having a hard time deciding what to do for the remaining episodes. Perhaps only 2 episodes/month will give them time to figure out what to do with the last episodes??? just speculating. Do you think Kristy could make an account on a site that accepts US players and film the remaining episodes on that? (Carbon or something?)
