I hate these spots: you have no idea who you're playing against, you don't even know if it's a fish yet. You have no idea if his calling range there is wide or if it's tight. You don't know how he plays draws.
It's a really tough spot. 3 bets to SD, and no idea where you're at.
When you bet the flop and get called, you still don't know what his range is: does it include the passively played FD's or is it mainly AQ,KQ,QJs,and JJ. His Q hands are quity numerous, and you should C/F the turn imo. Because if he doesn't raise the flop with FD's, he probably doesn't bet them on the turn either.
As he checks through and weirdbets the river, again, he's probably not betting a missed draw.
His bet does look like he's betting for some value, like a Qx hand that didn't bet the turn for some reason, or JJ. Lower PP would probably just checkbehind.
So it comes down to quite a guessing game. Also note that you have to be right 35% of the time. I'd rather fold.

Right from the flop our hand is awkward without reads, so i like just flatting. Given the play up to river a blocker bet isnt going to work, so I guess c/f is best mmediate EV, c/c could be used for future EV though

I snap this river. He is loose and bad. He had so many weak hands here that c/c river is profitable.
We don't know he's loose and bad- the stats are over a sample size of 4 hands. (OP, perhaps better just to say "villain is unknown" so as not to confuse people)

usually check flop
Really?
Surely we can get called by many worse pairs, wheel draws, flush draws, Ahi etc and we collect dead money when his hi-card hands have missed.
I'm normally betting this for value, is this a leak? What makes this a bad board to bet?
