Villain is an 18/16, who so far has either 4-bet or folded to a 3-bet.

UTG: $217.55
CO: $433.50
Hero (BTN): $198.00
SB: $417.00
BB: $64.10

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BTN with T Club T Heart
1 fold, CO raises to $6, Hero calls $6, 2 folds

Flop: ($15.00) 4 Spade 9 Spade 4 Heart (2 players)
CO bets $11.25, Hero calls $11.25

Turn: ($37.50) 3 Spade (2 players)
CO bets $28.13, Hero ???

What's the plan for the turn and the river?
1.) Do I just call turn and call any non-spade river?
2.) Is there any merit in putting a small raise in to potentially charge overs and big spades? If so, is this a b/f?

Raising can't be that good if bluffs/worse hands bet the river which I expect to happen a reasonable amount on this board.

I´d fold the turn.

Villain can have many hands that have us beat (flushes, overpairs) and he´s not valuebetting worse. If we´re ahead right now, villain probably has good equity (like overs +FD).
And I don´t think it´s a good idea to call a riverbet on any non spade card, because if villain is (semi)bluffing, it´s not unlikely that he c/f blank rivers (2-9 non spade). At least I don´t think he will bluff these cards with a high enough frequency.

Thats actually kind of interesting. It should be solvable if villian has a better range of boats/overpairs/flushes and barrels every overcard and flush card can we call turn profitably if we fold/call properly on the river. Also I need to get around to buying stoxev so I can solve these myself Smile

you can ONLY bet or raise for value if your hand has more than 50% equity vs his calling RANGE. You can't get value only from certain parts of his range but ignore the other parts.

How do people feel about raising 55 without the spade here instead?

typical flat. call again on the river if board paired, or a none spade undercard dropped.

if a none spade over card dropped, see how much he bet if he bet.
