Villain is good regular. 21/16. Steal in CO: 23% (way lower than is button steal which is 54%). Cbet flop/Cb turn/Cb river: 73/45/67.
I normally would c/r this flop but figured it'd be hard for him to call and wanted him to be able to continue bluffing. Turn is like the perfect card for him to barrel, so I c/c again. On the river, I'm letting him bluff and also possibly getting value from AK and AJ, which I'm pretty sure he'll bet.

I'd def like a turn c/r and hope he jams with fd perhaps. On the river, what calls your raise here that you get value from? Feels little like spew, little kinda turning our hand into a bluff, over repping the hand yada yada...

Why don´t you 3bet preflop? I´d 3bet this preflop 100% of the time.
As played I think c/c turn is fine. Villain probably has a lot of (semi)bluffs in his range for barreling this turn card and by calling we give him an opportunity to continue bluffing the river. And I think the plan to c/r river is pretty good, beause you´re not reppig a lot of value hands, because villain should expect you to c/r flop or turn with 2 pair+. But I´m not sure if c/r river is good on this specific card. It completes a lot of turnsemibluffs (picked up FD, KJ that picked up a gutshot on turn). What do you think is villains b/c range on this river? Your raise is fairly big because you´re a little deeper, so I´m not sure if he calls you with a hand like TPGK. If you think he´s the type of player that calls with TPGK, your line postflop is perfectly fine. If not I´d prefer to c/c river.

Yea, I mean, river is probably a bit thin. I'd expect him to call with AK and AJ, maybe worse Aces if he thinks this line is FOS. I guess any Ace is about the same in value anyway as he can't expect me to do this with just top pair.
I probably 3bet this like 95% of the time. I think the reason I called was because he had a high fold to 3bet % and I felt like keeping the dominated part of his range in on the flop.
He ended up tanking but ultimately folded. I suspect he was considering snapping off with KQ or something, maybe a weak A.

i like a call pre vs regs that know how to play pre flop but dont really know how to play good post. just try and figure out where he is most likely to do the biggest misstake in the hand.
for a great reference to this, watch balugas first ghost vid about pre and postflop image.

preflop call or 3 bet depends on how this guy responds to 3 bets and either is ok. I think c/r this river is over repping your hand. You're basically repping the BD flush and I don't expect a good reg like you said will call this river shove with worse 2 pair.

yea i like a c/r on the turn tho.
Isn't it good for our range to have something that strong in our check/calling range on the turn for all the times we have Qx?
Do you expect him to stack off with something like AJ if we check/raise the turn?
Thanks

really don't like the river cr, he'll never call you with a worse hand and i even think he'll just muck AT. Also he can have a any flushcombo or straight combo.
Turn i like a raise too, he can barrel a lot of draws which you want to charge and he'll pbb look you up lighter on the turn than on the river because of those draws

Why do you expect him to pay off on the river and not the turn where he might have a good draw?

I'm really not sure about the turn and I think it can go both ways.
I think once he bets the turn, we only get one more street of value out of most of his hands anyway. Especially against draws. If we c/r the turn, I would expect him to call our raise and not put any more money in unless he has us beat. If we just call the turn, I expect him to bet the river almost always. So the same money goes in either way and I don't see how we make more money against draws by c/ring the turn.
The same applies for his made hands, unless you think you can get him to 3bet the turn with weak aces, which I doubt.
