I just wanted to make sure this was an OK spot to 3B.
This is vs a semi decent reg running at 19/17.

Can someone come up for his range, as I was thinking a weak ace through out the hand. Obviously only way to win pot is to 3barrel. Did I bet too much on riv? Should I have just given up?

just check behind the flop.
when betting a draw you need to have fold equity, and you definitely don't have enough to bet such a board 3way.

Villain will have two pair or a straight by the river a lot. He'll be chk calling hands that have a pair and a gutshot. I don't mind cbetting the flop. I'd check back the turn though. Whatever he called the flop with, he'll call the turn with.

Thanks guys for your input really appreciate it!
I value your opinion that its probably best to slow down since the turn is such a blank..
But say we got here to the river, my thinking would be he can not call w/out a J. and its not like I am turning a made hand into a bluff, isnt this the exact hand you want to turn into a bluff..

I am struggling so much lately, seems like i am questioning every move and at times leveling my self Frown

I think he can still call with two pair. How many J's do you have in your range by the river anyway? You're probably checking back the turn with KJ, QJ, JJ, and maybe AJ. That leaves us with JT and probably not much else since you opened UTG, though I do recognize that you are 4 handed so you might through in J9s, J8s, etc.
