Button = massive fish who is capable of calling 3 streets with an under pair but will probably fold to any raise, SB = unknown but ironman and 13 tabling.

What do we do if SB bets? We beat nothing?

Can we value bet if he checks or is it too thin? Pretty obvious what we have so nothing is going to call that we beat??

on river folding against any reasonable bet seems easy. You could consider betting 20% to get value from overpairs ? =P

I guess that was my thought too - maybe I hadn't considered overpairs as I can't see him flatting them Vs this guy (no fold button PF) but random T's - QT/9T might call a small enough bet I guess.

Yep, fold against a bet, bet for value if checked to, he´ll never ever check a J or better on the river, so your risk is almost zero.

Thanks - appreciate comments and I agree. Just got gun shy here and checked back...and thought how dumb I was being doing it, while waving goodbye to the value I may have had from his QT.

in theory you shouldn't be betting this hand since it's far from the nuts and you have no bluffs. that said, you're ahead goddamn near 100% when he checks river and it's 10000x more likely he makes a terrible c/c than he tries to c/r bluff you here.

his turn bet is extremely poor with QT since you'll have a ton of Jx combos in the BB and will be folding everything worse than his hand but T9. his bet is SO poor that this in theory a fold on the turn, but because people are so terrible you can call turn and fold river had he bet.

I kind of understand why he bet as btn was soooo bad he would honestly call here with any pp (and he would have known nothing about me).

when both of you call the flop, betting the turn w/QT is terrible

it's marginal if just you call the flop but terrible multiway. does he think you both have exactly T9 100%?

I completely agree I just know how bad the btn was and that btn would call with pocket 5's here (I am not joking - saw him call 3 streets with an under pair to the board previously), so what I should have said is that if heads up Vs btn it would be a good value bet with QT so I kind of understand why he might want to bet.
