I imagine he did, but disagrees with the ranges you put in. Tbh, they are *very* optimistic and I don't see any effort to discount or weight the combinations of each of the hands he can have here.
e.g. This is ridiculously optimistic:
I used an arbitrary hand to show the hand's equity vs overcards.
First off, the sit or stand thread is fine and I see nothing immature about it really.
Tackleberry i dont think i ever attacked you, maybe an argument in a HH thread. I don't get mad at people easily but it irritates me to a great degree when I post a stove, an analysis, etc...and the reply to my post is a phrase like "lol false" or something. FWIW the post I quoted is the best here...whatever.
Back to the hand, it's obvious what villain is repping so question becomes how often does he need to spew?
I think generally the higher his CC stat, the better we're doing yes?
The problem with plotting also is we don't know what this could be, 74s or AJ. Obviously the more overcards in his range = less equity for us.
A question is if he has AA why would he min5bet here? I mean doesn't he want an extra caller?

The crux of the whole hand is that people are not taking this line as a bluff often enough to do anything but fold. You said it yourself, it's obv what villain is repping. When things are obv, it's usually best to just accept it and move on, else you risk leveling yourself into making a spewy play.

Alright people are not taking this line with KK/AA very often either, I think you'd agree with that?
I'm sorry but I'm confused by your statement. I think this line is KK+ almost 100% of the time which is why I advocate a fold. Maybe I misunderstood your question? Fish love to get trappy and slowplay, and then when $ goes in preflop they just decide to ship it or NOW it's time to raise in their mind. The exact same thing happened to me yesterday. I open, BT calls, SB ships 50bbs, I call, BT now 4b ships. I fold and he had AA.

So basically what you're saying is you folded having to call 47bb to win like 157bb? And that's a completely different spot, in what you posted villain is much more likely to have something like JJ or TT than in the hand posted by OP. What I'm saying we're getting such good odds that if he has like two combos out of the hundreds he's flatting pre of AK or random air we can call.

I'm saying that this is an unlikely line to take with AA/KK just as much as it is an unlikely play to take with air.

if we're always getting called (and we can assume we are), we're risking 65 to win 150
unless i suck terribly at math (and i may!), we need 30% equity. this is never going to be a very easy spot to peg, since you'll have nits who always 3b jacks but flat aces, or whatever. one of the defining things about nits is not just their unusually tight ranges, but their poor understanding of poker. a lot of them play tightly because they are aware of this, but then occasionally monkey spew out of confusion/frustration/etc
the point is, even if that's this guy, it's going to be pretty close at best and i'd just fold. i don't think this is his exact range, i just think based on info given and my own experience, it's a ballpark guess
