MP: $34.70
CO: $29.71
BTN: $86.49
SB: $117.88
BB: $100.00
Hero (UTG): $124.25

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is UTG with T Diamond T Heart
Hero raises to $3, 2 folds, BTN calls $3, 2 folds

Flop: ($7.50) A Heart K Heart Q Club (2 players)
Hero bets $5.00, BTN calls $5

Turn: ($17.50) T Spade (2 players)
Hero bets $12.00, BTN calls $12

River: ($41.50) A Spade (2 players)

Villain is tight-passive preflop and plays 20/10 with a 0% 3-bet over 500 hands. 12% call open otb, 55% fold to cbet and aggression by street is 40/23/36. Going through my database, I've seen him slowplay the nut flush and a flopped set against other opponents then lead out on the river.

What's our river line? Would it be bad to bet/fold the river? I think if he raises river it's almost impossible for him to be bluffing and his value range is probably just better boats - he's passive and I'm not bet-calling worse than Jx on the river, so I don't think he can value shove Jx if I bet.

I think this is clearly a bet/fold actually. Usually I'd argue that its a bet/call cause most guys don't have AK/QQ+ here, which leaves AQ. So then we can call given that combo wise its likely Jx or Ax.

But against this villain he has every FH in his range and its doubtfull this is Jx.

I agree with bet/fold vs. this villain. I'm curious as to why you bet OTT? Is he pretty stationy post? It just seems like he can have some a decent amount of Jx in his range and getting raised is a shitty spot with your hand.

I don't think its such a shitty spot if raised. Looks like a clear bet/fold until villain has shown to be tricky and capable of turning weakish made hands into bluffs

Yeah true. I'm just not sure how much value there is in betting. I guess it depends on villain and what he thinks of hero.

I think that bet folding is the best line.
Altought, I think that our river bet size should be on the low side here, I looks thin value to me.
