This guy is your typical 10 tabling TAG. He folds an obscene amount to 3b, 90% over 3k hands. I 3b this guy a ton whenever he opens. I don't think I 3b him much this session and I haven't played NL for 2 weeks, so it's not like there's any recent history.

I think its clear that he normally doesn't peal 3b OOP with 76s; there's no way he could have a F3B of 90% if that was true. So maybe it was because I 3b small, or maybe it was because he was tilting, or some other unknown factor. I marked that he pealed OOP with 76s, but it doesn't feel like I should auto-assign him a super wide 3b pealing range because of this hand.

So next time I play this guy should I just continue to 3b him mercilessly? Does this hand really give me any info other than he has the potential to spazz?

If you 3 bet him a tonne and he keeps folding then keep doing it until he stops folding, then tighten up a little and 3 bet him some more. If he starts playing back by calling with crap hands start 3 betting with a wider depolarised range... but really he could have misclicked or just thought he would try to get lucky. People like this are actually terrible players. He isn't a TAG at all but a mass multi-tabler robot and he isn't really going to adjust against you. This player is a form of fish, but one where you get to extract value over time rather than one where you bet top pair for value and get all his money right now.

well, that's a terrible defend no matter what, and it's not really surprising a guy who folds 90% would be bad at picking which hands to defend

I should clarify, when I said 3 bet until he stops folding I mean until he starts playing back at you a lot. If his idea of playing back is folding 80% of hands still then I would still 3 bet the hell out of him until he either starts calling a lot or 4 bet raising me a lot (in which case if he is doing this a lot then you can shove over the top with a wider value range)... I think this guy is juet going to keep on folding 90% of his hands though so just keep 3 betting lol. This call just tells you he is bad but we knew that already.

Ive seen lots of people who fold to tons of 3 bets show up with some weird hands,,,,,Its not gonna be the same tightish range the whole time...unless hes a robot,Sometimes people will just make a decision to call on a whim or something of sorts....Just his frequency of having a bad hand lessens but doesnt mean he cant have one....
