Villain plays 22/15, he seems to be a solid grinder, straightforward, tight. He cbets 70%. On the flop I mix it up, I decided to call this time. I'm not sure if I should check raise the turn or the river, what do you think?

Pretty simple c/shove.

You could easily be turning a hand into a bluff here and he may call with 2pair,set,Ax.

I hate shoving this deep. I don't think you're ever getting called by anything but a flush. It is a tricky spot to be this deep since any river raise commits you but i'd prob c/r to 160 and make it look like i'm giving myself good odds on a bluff.

Why is c/r/f bad? We're getting good odds but when we think that we'll be good enough very rarely, we can make a fold. The c/r will deliver us more value, anyways.

Not my standard line but it gives you good cover when you hit the flush like now.

On this river, I would definitely cr and I would just raise to 3x his size and call it off.

So, what weaker hands will he shove over your c/r? It's be $100 more in a pot of $471. We have to be ahead 100/571 = 18% of the time, then - I don't think, that's given.

Isn't a shove quite an overbet?

depends on how bad he is.

the worse he is the more i like shoving

i would make a 3x CR. i wouldnt make it too big. if he 3bet shoves, we r obv never good and have to fold

if he is somewhat good, he folds everything worse to a c/shove. when we c/c 2 streets oop and c/shove, it is really obvious for a good hand reader that we are never bluffing and allways have a flush, especially this deep

Smallish XR with the intention of folding to a shove > check/shoving

Would also be way better balanced with the bluffs you could have here in your range.

this.

You're almost never bluffing when you check overshove a river.
