Hey guys,
I'm participating in a new study group (starting at the micros) and I'm looking for advice from all you DC members out there who have been or still are in a study group. I have two major questions:
1) Where to start (first two things to do)?
2) Which pitfalls to avoid?
(Maybe I'm asking the wrong questions, If so which questions do you suggest?)
Any help with this would be highly appreciated!

No advice?... No suggestions?... Nothing?!... That doesn't look like DC... I mean, I know I'm still struggling at the micros, but that's one more reason for some feedback (you can't give back what you haven't received...)
If any of you guys have some general advice or suggestions, please respond. Thanks!

Hey Buddy,
I think your questions are better suited for the general poker forum people check them way more often and I am sure you will get more responses there. The Secret HQ forum is for creating or joining a group. As for my two cents since I have some experience running groups and to answer your questions:
1] You start with this forum when your looking to join or create a group first step would be to look at the recent groups listed and see if anyone is running a group that matches your stakes game type etc. Of course you can choose the start a group of your own by making a new thread here in the SHQ as for how and what to put in your initial post check out the two threads i ran/run http://www.deucescracked.com/forums/28-Secret-HQ/topics/412691-666-LLPLO?#post_3553631

Also you can check other posters threads too to get ideas to include in your group.
2] Keep the group small, Try and keep things interesting, Members will come and go...add new members as old ones leave, Make sure you schedule meetings or find a suitable time that can work for most. In the end its your group if u choose to run one and you can do whatever you want with it.
Goodluck!

You need someone to be really anal about meeting times and what is planned for each meeting. So look at different topics, like bet sizing, c betting, blind stealing etc.
Do lots of HH reviews too, these are perhaps the most useful.
Do homework and compare it at meetings
