Looking for:
-Someone who is commited to putting in time to study
-Someone who is commited to their long term development as a player
-Someone who is ambitious, wants to constantly improve as a player and move up stakes
-Currently at 50-100NL+ (will also possibly consider 25NL if you meet the rest of the criteria)
-Plays 6 Max (But I am also interested in studying HU in the futrue also, so an interest in HU is also good)
-Already has good or decent fundamental knowledge

What we will do:
-Discuss strategies and concepts
-Review hand histories
-Maybe some sweat sessions
-And more as we come up with more ideas

I think this can help both myself and anyone who would like to particpate. When you read about the majority of the most successful players, they all have a network of other good players which they can discuss strategies and new ideas with.

The ethos of this idea is not just centred around improving just yourself, (or myself for that matter) but we have a vested interest in each other imrpoving because the better each of us become, the better and more we can both help each other improve.

About myself, I am playing 50NL 6 max, with the ambition of constantly improving as a player. I have played poker for about the last 4 years but since the start of 2012 I have decided to get serious with poker and dedicate myself to cash games 6 max and becoming the best possible. I joined DC a few months ago, since then I have mainly been studying a lot, and I am serious about improving as a player. I feel having someone/a group of people to discuss startegy etc. with will help us all improve at a far greater rate.

I started playing poker about 1.5 years ago, taking it more and more seriously, and now I am very dedicated to improving my game. During this time I have move 4NL to 50NL where I'm now playing. I have played and still play almost exclusively NLHE 6 max cash. (European time zone).

I am interested in HU and possibly wanting to switch half my volume to HU (its currently around 10%). Playing 50nl right now and looking to take shots at 100nl next month, also interested in getting good at HU in the near future. Would really like if this group could get off the ground, haven't been in one that has yet . I live in Canada but I seem to be rather good at f'ing up my sleeping schedule so I should be able to match your timezone =D and I'll be on pretty much whenever I'm not sleeping.

I've heard this in so many videos to the point where I think it's almost essential to developing into a really good poker player.

I posted this in Project Hamster but trying to join 2 groups can't seem too harmful. I won't be able to really put in consistent volume/study time until May 7th when my finals are done. I have played 6max as my main game for the majority of my time playing and I still play 6max. I'm interested in HU at some point when I feel I'm doing pretty decently at 6max.

I'm 22 years old and living in Connecticut. I work with my dad for a roofing company during summers and also go to school full time. I am currently a junior studying Economics. I have been playing on and off since February 2011. I was studying very seriously probably February-April and then over the summer I really only studied videos. I started at 2NL and have grinded my way up to 25NL. I kept shot taking at 25NL and kept losing so I moved to 10NL, had a bad downswing so I moved to 5NL. I took a little bit of a break and started playing again in September and grinded 10NL for about 3 months. I started mixing 10nl and 25nl in January and February and that went well. 25nl has been my main game for the past 2 months. Over the past 4 months of only 25nl hands from January-now I am winning at 2.6bb/100 over 67k. I picked up a coach off higherlevelpoker and have been working with him since June of 2011. I only had around 4 sessions in 2011 but I've been working on my game and have had a lot more sessions with him in 2012. Like I said in the beginning I'm going to school full time and next week is my last week of classes and the following week is finals week so I won't really be playing/studying until that is all done and taken care of. My volume is inconsistent due to the times available to play when I find the games to be good and usually those times I am fairly busy with classes. Last week I put in 22k hands in 60 hours for a rakerace so when I want to put in volume and have the time I can do so pretty well. I'm almost always on skype available to talk poker theory/do sweats/do hand history reviews. Anyways I hope to join this group at some point and thanks for taking the time to read my application.

I play mostly 100nl these days but still play some 50nl aswell. I started with $200 18 months ago and worked my way up from there. Ive beaten 25nl and 50nl fairly well and now Im planning on doing the same with 100nl. Im currently playing on Pokerstars.fr and some Pokerstars. Im available on Skype alot of the time to look over HHs, sweats, theory, etc. Im not a high volume player. I probably average 15k hands a month and play 6 tables. 95% 6max.

heya, I'm interested, I'm defintely dedicated, but not sure if this dedication is long term. Currently bonus whoring and play whatever's juicy, have been putting in around 4-5 hours a day, between 20nl-100nl, mostly 50nl, also play FR but prefer SH, again I table select well.

I'm playing poker for about 1,5 year but last time i decided that i want to take it really seriously. Hi cbetting, very interested to work with you and the group. Not used to working with skype much, nor study groups but after improving from 2nl -> 50nl over the last 1,5 years I feel I need to step up and work harder to improve more.
