Despite all the negative attributes of Bodog's current game plan, they are starting to do some innovative things which has also given me a spin on one of their ideas. One of which is their new Fight Club for poker.

My Fight Club won't be anything like theirs but it will still deserve the title of Fight Club.

Each week we will all be on at a certain predetermined time and we will play a cash game that is only seated by us. Each player brings one buy in at the predetermined stake. Once you bust, you are out. After you are out, you must continue staying at the table, sat out so no one else can join. We play until all the money at the table is in one person's hands.

As people go out, maybe they can sweat a team member of their choice.

After the entire match is over, we will have a HH history (naturally this can't be done on Bodog) that we can all sit down and review and discuss all plays made. Most importantly, we will have effective stack sizes that will range anywhere from 10 bbs (when one play destroys someone) up to 300bbs (well rake won't allow this) when the match gets HU.

Everyone will care about the money because its winner take all. However, rising blinds will never come into play. We won't have to worry about someone pulling a Cowboy Marco because we will all know each other and if they choose do that we can leave and ban them from the group.

This is a rough draft of the idea and currently I wouldn't even be able to do it (all my money is locked on Bodog for now) however I will have some money on Merge in the near future.

Any interest in a group like this? Obviously this is a rough draft of the idea.

That said - this idea seems great. Very cool.

Tip: escrow the money and hold the battle at playmoney tables. This way you avoid the rake which will otherwise be quite brutal (I'm estimating a full BI will probably be lost to rake otherwise).
