Previous Study Material: Some limit books, 2+2's HUNL book, pokersavvy plus a couple years back.
Current Study Material: DeucesCracked is all I need. And you guys.

I just dl'ed skype to join this group. Don't know what I'm doing and still a bit unclear on how this will all come together. I guess I just logon at noon and go from there?

Anyways, I'm looking forward to exploring the psyche's and tendancies of other micro regulars. I've played 60k hands of 10nl 6max since buying PT3 and am beating it for 5.53 bb/100 on Cereus. 12k hands at 25nl and have broken even *though running far below ALL IN Exp.* Help me crush 25nl!!

I need help guys i just won a satellite into the ftp 250k guaranteed, but I have work.... Anyone good with mtt? Possibly take my spot, and split whatever is gained?

first is 26k something, if you place in the top 900 you get 68, so 13k something for first, 32 and some change if you place. Havent decided on whether or not ill be calling into work.... I am doing well with mtt right now.

So I haven't been around lately since I have been working 12-14 hr shifts at work and haven't had time for anything else but here's the deal the weekend schedule meetings as per my first post have come to an end last week and I have nothing planned for this weekend so there won't be any official meetings this weekend...unofficially I and others will still be around to do sweats etc. Not to worry I do have future plans for this group.

me too Hash. Since I have a f/t job, it was suggested that I load up my bankroll and play 10nl @ 20 buy-ins. Awesome start, then I cam home and played drunk last night. Lost 3 buy ins. Alcohol + poker = tilt. Never again

Much like the others i have moved up to 10NL. Had a really good first week but a shocking second week and am back to 0 with a big 6BI downswing. Not sure what im doing differently but i guess thats why im in thins group

Maybe your not doing anything differently? 1 thing i've noticed among a lot of people in this group is underestimating how big of an effect variance has on the short term. If you win 10 buyins in a week you can lose those 10 buyins right back. It may be variance, it may be leaks in your game, It might tilt or any combination of all 3. The main thing you need to do is look for areas in your game to improve and try to keep detached from the results.

There will be a meeting this Saturday at the usual time we will revisit Turn play spots from a previous meeting since the audio didn't record for some reason. We will also have a home game. I have finally made up my mind about what directions to take this group in and with that said the way things work out REGISTRATION TO JOINING I STACKS MORE ARE GOING TO BE OPEN PERMANENTLY . Let me explain further I have been juggling with the concept of I Stacks More University (ISMU) for a couple of weeks now in my head and have finally decided to go with it. So the way things will be structured from now on. Hand Review sessions, sweats, poker discussions can be held at any time among the members and they will never be structured. I will be starting classes in a couple of weeks which will be held on weekends. Classes will be based on either a book or a video series from DC and you will have to register to be in a class and things will be structured a lot like a college class there will be points for attendance, participation, quizzes, exams etc. At the end of it all the person with the most points will win a session with a coach etc. Some classes might have registration fees some might now. I will be using the fees to pay for the coaching and all and $0 will go to me. I am doing this to learn and get better at poker and help others get better too. I thought of doing this partly as per a suggestion from a group member and partly after reading the post about micro stakes players not being able to afford coaching. Now you can if you work hard and are the best student in a class. So whats in it for me well it forces me to read the book or watch the series for the particular class I can't impart knowledge I don't have.
