Sorry guys about missing Sunday, I had to help my Dad. How did it go?
Hey Flann sorry you could'nt make it but the meeting imo was great and very productive. I got a feeling that there was a lot we could learn from each other and i felt i learned a lot from everyone. I do have the audio from the meeting and I can send it to you on skype if you would like. Our main discussion focused on preflop play and we discussed some really interesting spots.

Good luck with the group guys. Seems like an awesome idea, except it seems that 12 noon Saturday and Sunday CST is 3am Sunday and Monday here in Melbourne, Australia (I think) which is a lil hard to stay up/get up for, esp with work on Mondays
Keep updates though, would love to see how you guys progress. Good luck!
Sorry to hear you can't make it Collin I would still try to get some sweat sessions going with the people in the group even if u can't come to the meetings. In the last meeting we discussed preflop spots and got into some really interesting arguments. I was actually glad that there were disagreements on some decisions because it forced us to reasons with each other and that made for some great listening. Also CST US is 6hrs behind GMT and Melbourne is 10hrs ahead of GMT this would make it 4am there which only makes matters worse sorry. What level do you play at? Not all of our members make it to all our meetings but we try and stay in touch and have sweats whenever possible maybe you could do that.

Hey guys, there is now a table ninja in beta for full tilt, it is a hotkeys program, so yeah check it out, its free for now. I am including a link and hitting up hash for help on how to set it up... Hash HELP MEEEE!!!!!
http://tableninja.com/tnft/index.php
Hey Ted, I am not sure when I will be online next because I am working nights this week and my sleep schedule is messed up...I just got home a while ago and its almost 8 am so my biological clock is acting up but if I am online hit me up I will help you set it up if not try and get one of the other members to help.
I know I have talked to some of you about Table Ninja but for those of you that have never heard of it its definitely worth checking out I have Table Ninja for PS and it cost $$ so if I were you I would be jumping to use it for free at FT. As mentioned above my timings are messed up this week hence I haven't and will not be online much I am actually coming down with something due to my odd hrs my throat is getting worse by the hour hopefully i still have my voice for the coming meetings. For those who missed out on the meeting you can pm me on skype and I will send you the audio from the meeting so you can catch up if you like. Thats all for now.:]

Just to let everybody know, I'll be moving shortly so I probably won't have a lot of time for poker-related things this week or so. Also, for anybody who plays stars but doesn't want to shell out $ for Table Ninja, Stars Hot Keys is a decent, free alternative, albeit considerably less full-featured.

Current Play Level: Currently at 2nl cause of what I have left in my account, but have a f/t job so looking to load up and play at 10nl
Goal: Learn more about correct lines, value-betting and hand reading.
Multitable/How Many: 2-3
Previous Study Material: Phil Gordon's Little Green Book, Harrington On Holdem, From the Ground Up, Mathematics of NL (which I need way more practice at) plus other DC vids.
Current Study Material: Real Life Micro NL Grinder, Baby Steps.

2. Other Random Suggestions or Questions: As stated before I live in Melbourne, Australia (GMT+10) so attending the meetings will be tough, but I'm still interested in sweat sessions or hand discussions. I haven't done them before but I got skype and teamviewer now and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can about the game. Add me on skype if you want and I'll try and get involved somehow. GL guys!

If you don't mind let me know next time someone is doing a sweat session. I'd like to participate as an observer. I've never done a sweat session and I'd like to see how it works before committing to my own.

2. Other Random Suggestions or Questions: Looking for a group to spot my obvious leaks. I've been running ~10 buy-ins under EV this month at 5nl, it really frustrated me at the end and I feel like I lost my A game
I feel like I can help a lot people, because I have a good poker level, and that I need to be sweated somethime by better players to help me stop spewing and running good
Cheers
Just participate and you will get your A game back also play fewer tables and concentrate on your decisions specifically making the right one and try reading people better.

Hi All.
As like everyone else, i would really like to get involved with this. Would be good to get to know some people on here and have someone to chat to about poker.

Current Play Level: 5NL

Multitable/How Many: 4

Current Study Material: The EVolution of poker & Theory Of Poker
Future Study Material: The Eightfold Path To Poker Elightenment / No Limit Holdem Theory & Practice
2. Other Random Suggestions or Questions:
Although i have been playing for the past 3 Months and have been watching videos / reading forums i would say im still a very beginner at the game and still make some basic mistakes. I kinda feel im probably a bit to low lever for the rest of you so am unsure if i should be applying when i might not be able to help others and discuss on the same level as the rest of you. So Feel free to get me to go work on my game for another couple of months or so
Oh yeah, i also live in europe so my times may vary from the rest of you wihhc might make it difficult to have evening sessions

How would you play the hand on the river when the 2 different river cards hit?
I'm always betting the turn, check/calling is VERY weak!
With the 7d on the river, I'm blocker betting/folding, we have no pot control if we check/call, we may be forced to fold to a big bet, but we can always fold to a raise. We also might be missing value form AJ - AK from a tighter passive player if we dont bet.
With the 9c, I'm check/folding. Villan is NEVER valuebetting a worse hand, and without a read, we can't putt him on a bluff. Basically (Without history) if he's got the flush, he's betting, if he hasn't, he's checking.

the only thing i see with this is that he's only calling with hands that he might value bet himself. we dont give him a chance to bluff especially since he seems like a more aggro player
