Anyone wants to join a micro stakes SNG group?
I play most of the time the 9 and 45 players in a regular format (blinds with 10 minutes).

I am watching this week the Real Life of a micro SNG Grinder and i will see the Last Standing Man video series.

I still do not have skype, i am going to install it latter.

Anyone interested just PM.

Thanks.

I'm down... I just joined DC, studied both of those series, and overnight I began to become a winning player (albeit a small sample but in the right direction). There is still much I would like to learn and wouldn't mind joining a group that met during the week to go over spots / new concepts.

All right.
I am still watching the two series and very soon we could discuss some hands and strategy.

Ok, I have 5 HH for 9 players SNG. On those 5 HH 3 of them I placed 1st.
I have a HH (one of the 1st places) where I was on level 2 blinds with only 4 BB and I ended up winning the SNG.

Anyone interested on those HH? I am thinking in making a movie (using the replayer) about the one were I was almost blinded out and turned things around. What do you guys think?

I'd like to participate if you guys will accept another. I'd be happy to give input on those HH. If you send them to hotdiggy1121@gmail.com I'll post my feedback.

I'm currently hitting the Full Tilt $3.3 -90man KO and just started 25NL cash to develop my poker brain.

Videos are good, I've just never been able to get my audio to synch with video. Also, important to be honest with yourself when reviewing and put what you were thinking AT THE TIME rather than how you think about it afterwards. there is very subtle difference. I didn't realize I was doing it at first. Annotating while playing is best.

Here are my thoughts. I was trying to be very critical because if we just sit around and tell each other how good we're doing we won't get where we're trying to go. Overall, nicely played and congrats. I know it feels good to win. Also, keep in mind that I'm not a pro and my feedback is intended to make you think, but it may not be correct Smile - mike

TT - I don’t like the shove with TT, mostly because of the bias against confrontation. Maybe I’m a nit, but once he calls your raise on the flop and keeps firing when the K hits, I’m folding. He’s only raised 1 hand so far and check/folded OOP on a rag flop. I think he’s playing fit/fold and opening premium hands from EP – maybe suited broadways. Here is how I have his range/your equity pre-flop:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 48.545% 47.80% 00.74% 476369796 7410210.00 { TT }
Hand 1: 51.455% 50.71% 00.74% 505370712 7410210.00 { 99+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, AQo+, KQo }
After the Flop you’re here: (I’m a noob, and was surprised to see you gain equity after an overcard hit)
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 52.989% 52.44% 00.55% 283455 2970.00 { TT }
Hand 1: 47.011% 46.46% 00.55% 251145 2970.00 { 99+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, AQo+, KQo }

When the K hits the turn, you are here:
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 30.776% 30.14% 00.64% 6246 132.00 { TT }
Hand 1: 69.224% 68.59% 00.64% 14214 132.00 { 99+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, AQo+, KQo }

K9: I like the shove.
98o: Way to go you for hitting that. I’m folding that unless maybe it’s suited.
67o: I’m folding with your stack. What factored into your decision? What flop would you have called?
55BB: I’m interested to know what you would have done had someone opened preflop? I’ve been there before and not sure I always play it correctly.
55SB: Shoving over limpers. Gotta love it. Nicely played.
AJo: I make that raise preflop 175 -200.
KJo: Need others to chime in. I think that when you call pre flop, either the SB or BB shove with those stacks a lot. Am I right? If so, I fold there too pre flop.
AA: Ain’t that a bitch..lol. Hasn’t Sb been stealing blinds all game?lol. and no action on your AA.
K3s: what do you do when SB or button tries to steal with that hand? I’m just interested.
99: Just as bones says in hitchhikers guide #1 – pick on the limpers until they show up with a premium hand. Nicely played.
93o: I’m pretty sure that’s an any 2 cards spot.
KQo: Nicely played
66: You also min-raised pre with QJo earlier. What’s the thinking there?
77: Nice call. I probably start calling there with 99. Here is the Stove on where I have his range.
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 49.218% 48.69% 00.53% 955504644 10304544.00 { 77 }
Hand 1: 50.782% 50.26% 00.53% 986186652 10304544.00 { 33+, A9s+, KTs+, QTs+, ATo+, KJo+, QJo }

KQo: nice fold in SB imo
J9o heads up: Lots of minraising which I’m not sure about. 200 into 800? What are you thoughts on that?

Overall, though, VERY nicely played IMO. Way to wear him out HU.

You right IMO, I should fold to his bet, still early in the tournament and I am losing my equity on this hand. I was reading (besides being very early) that he could not have a pair on preflop that is way I called is raise on the PF.
When he bets on the flop I would not put him on a JJ pair either so i raised him and when he calls I suspected that he has nothing.
On the (fatal) Turn, when the king comes out and he bets more than half the pot I was beated and I should have folded here. I did not truly believe on his KK so I shoved on him, but I was wrong.

K9: I like the shove.

98o: Way to go you for hitting that.

Trying to get my tournament equity back. :-)
I would shove almost ATC here.

67o: I’m folding with your stack. What factored into your decision? What flop would you have called?

I was chasing a straight, two pairs or trips or a cheap showdown with a pair.

55BB: I’m interested to know what you would have done had someone opened preflop? I’ve been there before and not sure I always play it correctly.

I would call to see a cheap flop and evaluate the opponent hand on postflop based on his bets patterns.

KJo: Need others to chime in. I think that when you call pre flop, either the SB or BB shove with those stacks a lot. Am I right? If so, I fold there too pre flop.

Well, yeah but my hand is strong (not so strong but playable) and I am on the button with 20 BB, so flat call a bet that is only 6% of my stack is not so expensive.
The flop is good for me and I certainly have the best hand because one opponent just check the other is all-in, so I push to get away the opponent from latter streets. And he does what I want him to do, he fold my push on the flop and I am heads up against the other villain.

AA: Ain’t that a bitch..lol. Hasn’t Sb been stealing blinds all game?lol. and no action on your AA.

lol, you bet IMO, what a frustrating hand, come on I just need one guy to play with me...lol

K3s: what do you do when SB or button tries to steal with that hand? I’m just interested.

I would definetely fold. Too weak to play this hand right now.

93o: I’m pretty sure that’s an any 2 cards spot.

Yeah, I guess a push could give me the blinds here IMO.

66: You also min-raised pre with QJo earlier. What’s the thinking there?

Well, instead of shoving because I have a second nice stack and we are on the pre-bubble (5 players), I min raise and I expecting everyone to fold, (unless somebody wakes up with a strong hand).
The table was tight at this point that a min raise would be just enough for everybody to fold.

77: Nice call.

Usually this is my starting raising spot and flat calls to a shove. Most of the time your medium pocket pair will win against an Ace.

J9o heads up: Lots of minraising which I’m not sure about. 200 into 800? What are you thoughts on that?

I am on the button so I must be more agressive. Any face card with a good above average kicker is a raise for me on the PF.
He calls.
On the flop he checks, so I figure out he has nothing, so I min raise, I do not have nothing either but one thing I have: position, so I bet.
Why not a bigger bet? Because I have nothing on the flop and I figure out that if he has nothing (unless he holds an Ace), he would fold to my bet.

Thanks for the construtive critical point of views, really nice. Hope to view some of you HH too.

Leaving a question to our group: anyone plays $3 SNG or $5 SNG on pokerstars? (9 players)
I am playing the $1 (kind of a training) but I want to figure out the diferences between $1/ $3/ $5 SNG, in terms of strategy.

Thanks and see you at the tables!
