Session in 15 min. Join us on Skype.
Chris, thanks for playing yesterday. The session was great as usual. Always spots to talk about.
I'll work on the post production of my recordings and decide what I want to publish (and how much time I'll spend on editing).
ciao BG

Hey guys,
I just thought I would watch the BG vid in between tonights sessions, so here's my comment if you don't mind ![]()
Take my comments fwiw.
1 hand -77- I also like betting the turn and folding if we should get raised.
TBH I think the river is pretty close between betting and checking back.
I assume he coldcalled preflop and xc flop-x turn, so he is def. passive and might not even bet/raise a 9 or 8.
However, most importantly IMO, if he is thinking then he should know that you don't really have many bluffes after you checked the turn so your river bet is heavy weighted towards value. Also the pot is small so you would give him 4.5:1 on his call, not a good price when we are hoping to get called by Ax or 33-66.
And as we can discoun't the strong Ax's for not 3betting preflop (he is 83/33-for 6 hands, so 2 pfr so far) I think a river bet would be very marginal. But I do also think that he will have stuff like, A9,K9,Q9,T9,79,A8,K8,Q8,T8,78 in his range and definitely not discount those 100%.
BTW a question for you guys, if you had been villain but in BB w A6 and had played this hand vs Chris MintZ, how would you have played it on flop/river?
2nd hand -KK- yeah bet river, IMO. I would bet down to AJ aswell, and I would bluff alot.
3rd Hand -A9- nice fold I think.
4th hand -KQ- yeah bet.
5th Hand -Q6- Agree with BG about b-xr (I would xc a K and A down)
6th Hand -K5- At first I thought this was insta 2nd barrell becasue he gotta fold Ax and small pp's here. But yah, we can't really fold to a raise so I like the xc-xf (UI) line here, I don't really think that the standard unknown is bluffing the river when we call here on a brick.
You haven't posted it right?
7th hand -5T- Agree with your line about xf, and xc HU.
8th hand -76- Agree with xc-xf.
9th hand -KJ- IP vs a BB 3bet that checks the flop. Agree with the "higher" stake player that checking here is to induce with a Monster. Also if you turn a T you'll get a bunch of bets in vs his 2nd nuts ![]()
Interesting video guys ![]()
Are we running again at 3pm?
Are we running again at 3pm?
I believe it is the same time as last sunday 4pm est
Yes, same bat time, same bat channel.
See you in 19 minutes.
Alex, thanks for playing this week. Always awesome to see others' styles.

I have uploaded the full session (68 minutes or so) here:

First hand: AKs, I don't recall our discussion before I hit 'record' but I'm not sure why I was so pessimistic on the turn. I like to c/c there a lot.
other immediate hand: AJ on the left, I meant to say his range ISN'T wide when he caps UTG, obv.

Please post if you guys have thoughts on plays or certain lines. It was a great week!
ciao
Session tomorrow, Sun 4pm EST as usual.
Bring your game. ![]()
Brad, thanks for playing yesterday. I thought it was an awesome session. Tons of weird spots and we run bad!
I think it is important to remind everyone that these sessions happen and are an expected part of the game. What's fun is that the opposite is also true so we get to run gud too.
Commit to not looking at your Cashier balance. ![]()
I was not able to produce this weeks session but intend to post as many as I can.

PS. See you next week all!
But if I don't check my balance, I won't know how awesome I am at the pokers.

Yeah, I currently use a stop loss figure to prevent ubertilt from bad sessions so tiltblocker and would er... tilt me ![]()
Anyhows, is a $.25/$.50 baller too low-brow to be the subject of one of these sessions?
