Hi im interested in the group. I've played about 5000 $6.50 18mans on stars with 17% roi, but most of that volume was from over a year ago.

Recently started playing them again, they are definately tougher than in the past, want to make sure my game still up to date.

Only just got HEM/table ninja, would be interested to see what software others use, thinking about getting SNG Wiz soon.

Hi all,

The phone call fell apart Saturday. We left with Chris saying he could make a video for us to review, Jose also can make a video. I haven't downloaded the software yet and I think I'm going to have the week from hell at work so I'm not even going to attempt it this week.

I'd like to suggest for the group:

1)Chris, you make the first video, have it ready for Wednesday. Please include a description of your HUD stats for me and how you use them.

2) Required viewing is Last Man Standing episodes 1 & 2 (episode 1 is really geared towards noobs to SnGs episode 2 is still at a beginner level, but starting to build). Not sure we'll have much to discuss on these videos until we hit a little later in the series, but gotta start at vid 1.

3) We all independantly review Chris's vid and have comments ready for the next meeting which will be.....?


These are just my quick thoughts guys, I've never been in a group before so if anyone else has any suggestions please post them. I'm just trying to keep the group going.

Just finished recording, I really hope that screencast-o-matic works the way that I thought it works and uploads my session. You should have a lot to talk about on that one.

HUD:
VPIP; PFR; # of hands
SB steal; BTN steal; SB fold vs steal; BB fold vs steal; 3bet
Flop CB; fold to flop CB; Limp fold

My hud stats are filtered:
9-6 players;7-5 players; 4 plrs; 3 plrs; 2 plrs.
Especially since my stats are filtered you should not pay too much attention to other stats than VPIP, PFR on most occasions. I'm going to re-do my hud in near future.

*In the hindsight I don't really like my call at all there. For some reason SNG wiz doesn't allow me to analyse the hand the way I'd like to. I'll try to do same math on paper a little later.
15:05 *bad shove by me, wizzed. Especially because of the high chance of a trap-ish thing by psfalipitt.
21:49 *The reasoning behind my shove was that I was getting ~2.5:1 and boog1317 is really unlikely to call me down light. I don't usually do plays like that, I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't recording tbh. SNG wiz sees this as break even if boog is calling me with 99+ AQ+ AJs+ if I leave swipes on defaul range(57%). If I reduce swipes's range to 33.7% and take out Ajs from boog1317's range then I'm again back to break even. Itlr this is definitely a -EV play imo but it seemed like an interesting hand to think about later=).
24:00 *I had a read that has been confirmed a few times, he shoves into a big stack on BB while he is on SB w/tighter range but is capable of shoving very wide if a big stack is on SB and a shorter stack is on BB. Am I too read dependent in situations like this? SNG wiz says that my call is +EV if my opponent is shoving ~33% or wider.

Have fun with critique, obv don't hold anything back etc. If you think of an interesting scenario in some spots then let us know.
