What up fellow DC members,

I'm wondering if anyone wants to do a study group type thing for Bill Chen's "Mathematics of Poker". The book is pretty dense and it would be helpful to chunk through it with other people.

The plan would be to each individually read chapters and arrange a discussion time online via aim or skype or something. It'll kind of be like homework to read the chapters, and we can talk about the content and how it can apply to our games and etc..

If only 1 or 2 people want to do it I'm still down. However you should be pretty serious about this and be ready to contribute to the discussion. I would like to move through it at a fairly quick pace. If this group eventually wants to do sweats and etc.. I am down for all that also.

About me:
I'm a senior at the University of Michigan studying Computer Science Engineering.. so I've finished my upper level math requirements and definitely enjoy the math aspects of poker. I am a pretty mediocre player, your usual DC/CR member that's gotten a bit of coaching but still can't answer many of the "whys".

IM is the best way to get a hold of me, email is ok too.
