Ah, finally found this thread, im a little slow
So my experience goes back, been playing for a living for more or less 4 years, and up until last year i didnt have lot of structure, but have always been a solid winner in the 10-20/15-30 games with shots taken regularly on 30-60 50-100, and a few times as high as 100-200/200-400 with varying success. Last year i structured better, becoming more aware of bankroll management and therefore grinded (as far as me goes anyway) a lot of 15-30, this beeing my primary game of last year, experimenting with some HUHU and at the end of the year moving up if the games were good.
My strenghts would be hand reading, valuebetting thin, playing aggressive and i think balanced. IDK really, naming my strenghts isnt really one of my strenghts
As for weaknesses go, i do tend to get a bit tilty from time to time which in turn results in spewy plays. Also i play a very loose aggressive style, sometimes a bit too loose.
I am ordering the Koss headset posted in this thread so will be ready for skype or W/E, and also i would love to be in a homegame!

put me in for a homegame but I am out on Friday night and this Thursday I couldn't do it until after 8:30pm CST. However, tomorrow night works best for me but probably not enough time to get this going.
If I'm not available when it works for you guys, play on.
Sounds like me, deepsquat, pygmy, nfinity, and sirocko so far for a homegame. We have enough to at least try and set up a time and place.
I know most of you from FT - Sirocko, u okay with FT? Who is good for tomorrow night? Who would prefer Thus or this weekend?

Can't make this one guys, sorry. Living in Japan makes weekdays tough for me to schedule around the time difference. I will like to watch it though! Sounds like a tough lineup. I am pretty sure I would be the fish anyway!

Sorry for not contributing anything meaningful so far, I'm quite busy with real life issues right atm. Enjoy the homegame, everyone!
Will probably have some more time on my hands very soon, though.

Could we agree on a standard timezone to use for this group? All these US timezones are so confusing
CST = EST-1 = GMT-7?
Anyone interested in doing a sweat session Nfinity style? I'm thinking next weekend, hopefully my Sennheiser headset will arrive in time.
Re HU rake: You can def obtain a good win rate @ 3/6 (but not lower than that imo), but anyone playing 3/6 should be looking to make the jump to 5/T and higher as soon as possible. It's OK to be quite aggressive at taking shots as long you game select some and retain enough $$ to keep grinding 3/6 if things go awry. The opposition at 5/T and even 8/16 is just as bad as at limits below that, as long as you avoid the pro grinders.
As a maxbetter I can't really offer any advice
Don't despair, DJ. Even maxbetters can get qualified professional help

Sorry guys, I am out on Thursday night (EST). It looks like you have enough to get it going though. One thing I will say is if you only get 5 I'd highly suggest sitting at a 'name' table on FTP rather than murdering the one poor soul who sits down unawares.

I suggest EST, simply because that's what Pokerstars and FTP use as their own clocks, that way everyone has a convenient way to know exactly what time things are going on.
As far as the homegame, I could do it tonight possibly, but I think it would be a lot easier to plan for Saturday or Sunday, everyone should be up and about playing sometime during that time, it seems more convenient.
