I'm a heads up limit specialist playing primarily 3/6 - 5/10 and have also played a fair bit of 6m, and sport a pretty healthy winrate at the stakes I play. I am currently working on my 6m NLHE game, mostly for use within 8-game, but also as another game to pass the time while waiting for HULHE action. I'm playing 50NL at the moment, but am rolled for higher and plan on moving up as soon as I feel confident in my skillz.

I am hoping to find an NLHE player who wants to add LHE to his bag of tricks, be it for variety or 7/8-game or whatever. Something pretty casual - we could sweat each other a few hours a week, do HH reviews, whatever makes sense. If there's enough people on both sides of this divide, perhaps we could even set up a dojo.

Pretty flexible schedule, as I am self-employed. Let me know. Thanks!

If I had more experience in LHE and a bigger roll for NLHE, I'd be interested. posting here to keep an eye on how this develops.

Hey Mike,

I also want to learn NL so it would be cool to work together. I only think that I will be on a much lower learning pace because I don't really have much time the coming month (Full time job + 10K hands HUHU LHE to pay the rent).
Next month Ill graduate and planning to play poker fulltime.
I am currently reading the Slowhabit book. I'll have to put some hands in to get the basic stuff. After that we could maybe do some discussion, video review, etc.
Which DC videos do you recommend me to start with?

Thanks

No worries - sounds like oba and Kulk are tied up for a while, but I'm going to record a video sometime this week anyway and maybe we can all grab 30 minutes or so to do some review in the next two weeks. If someone else wants to record one, then by all means. Hopefully we can get some more structure together when you all free up a bit more.

Oh, and as far as vids go, I have watched probably 40 hours or so of NL vids. For 6m stuff, I really recommend "The Coaching Tree" as a good place to start. As PH mentioned in the other thread, "Memoirs of a Limidonk" is good as well, as Josh and Rob discuss things from our unique perspective.

Do you recommend reading any of the books/ebooks, or are you just going down the video route?
