Hi,
I'm looking for a small group of friends, preferably working on UK/Euro time, to work together starting at the micros. Unfortunately, my PC sould is busted ATM (FML 
), so at least initially, we would have to work without that. That means:
1. Limited to viewing Iphone-friendly videos.
2. Limited to typing via IM rather Skype-d up sweat sessions.
About me:
1. Maths strong, poker results weak.
2. VERY thorough.
3. Quite patient with people's weaknesses. Hoping to find people who a patient with mine.
4. Not limited to any particular game type. Currently looking at theory AND FR AND SNGs. Likely to work my way through 6max, HU and Omaha in the course of time.
To make a strength out of a weakness, my current plan is to form a group to head up Mount Robusto early. That means working hard on absorbing the theory videos here (including DETAILED note taking of whole video series, followed by creating Google spreadsheets of any calculations in the video), discussing videos, discussing hands, and session reviews.
Ideally, the group will be defined by being prepared to work hard rather than idiot-savant type instant poker talent, with willingness to laugh and apply maths as we seek out the nuggets in the back catalogue and work our way to the top of Mount Robusto.
The study list is likely to include, but not be limited to:
Math of NLHE
Hand Readers
Professor Plotkin
Razor's Edge
Thin Red Line

So, to start, I'm looking for up to 5 friends who are:
1. prepared to discuss/study a minimum of 3 videos a week
2. prepared to do frame-by-frame note-taking (for the group) of at least one video a week
3. playing at least some NLHE (FR/6max/HU/Tourney) at the micros.
